People, please please can you help? My best friend has just sent me this message from her son (also Chris) who is doing volunteer teaching work in Nepal:
Chris
Our Chris and his room mate have rescued a stray kitten in Nepal. She was dumped in a plastic bag by a roadside & was being hit with sticks by a group of children. She has a broken leg and is very malnourished and generally poorly. They have a vet coming, but it's likely she will die. However, if not, I'd like to be able to track a suitable sanctuary in the Katmandu area. I can't find one through Google, only a dog sanctuary.Chris did say if she made it he'd see about getting her back to the Uk but obviously that would be hugely traumatic for her and would cost thousands. I wondered if, with your contacts, you might have any ideas?
love
Gil
I will pay for any treatment this cat needs, as will my friend Gill, but does anyone know of a sanctuary in Kathmandu? Or have any advice?
Hoping for a Purrs miracle here for this little one.
