Caramel doesnt make a food complete, the added vitamins does that. Caramel makes the food that lovely pooey brown colour and appeals to the cats tastes

Ooh it's confusing! Well - the Whiskas I have at home (Traditional in gravy and Oh So Meaty) don't have any sugar in them. I especially chose Oh So over the Felix boxes althou Felix was much better value.

Not sure - I thought the jelly had sugars in?

I'm pretty sure Whiskas has added sugars - at leat in the the Jelly & Gravy ones?

Really? But what I don't understand is how come some complete foods don't have it? Like Whiskas? And Hi Life Essentials.

I used to think that but the sugars are what is needed to make the food complete.

I will take a detour this afternoon and replenish my socks (as I only have about 30 boxes left from the tesco "2 for £4" offer a while back  :evillaugh:
Asda are also cheap for the felix treats - mine love the chicken ones.

They also have Felix boxes on offer in Asda right now - 3 boxes for £7 (36 pouches).

I was going to try them, but saw they have ''various sugars'' in the ingredients list. I'm not a sugar fan and wouldn't think my cat needs it either.
