Today is the big day and the results of the hotly contested Cat Show 2008 are announced below
A special congratulations to the
Purrs Top Cat 2008 MEMPHIS and I hope your reign will be a very happy one

LUCAS an RILEY and MISA We have given this years special award to
JAMESON cos he was just so cheeky in sneaking into the final twice
I am sure to a woman or a man, everyone who voted will agree that every cat in the show was dropdead gorgeous and round by round the decision on who to vote for was agonizing and hearts were ripped apart and tears shed.
Every single cat in the show got loads of votes, without exception and the results were so close that in a number of cases including the final, panels of judges had to be asked to call the winning cat for either first , second or third place and I would like to thank them for the hard decisions they had to make
So from me and Tan , we thank every single person who entered the show and every wonderful cat who proudly put themselves up for show, a huge
THANK YOU and we would love every cat to have a special cuddle from us
Now a very serious announcement and the reason that we have held this show.We have raised a magnificent £374 and this will be added to profit from the Purrs shop in our Rescue Fund and divided equally amongst the non-independent rescues on our registered list. None of them have benifitted from money raised on Purrs before and we thought that this was a lovely way to give a little help to these rescues all at the same time . I do hope you all agree
£100 each will therefore go to the following five Purrs rescues:
