Just breathing a sigh of relief

Gizzy escorted me up the shared driveway next door, and along the path behind the houses. We had got 3/4 of the way along the path, when I looked behind us, and there was Sweepy following us

Sweepy dodged past us, and kept running along the path. The closer I got to him, the further Sweepy moved away. So I brought Gizzy back home, and went back out, thinking I could try to get to the end of the path via the roads, but I didn't hold out much hope of getting there in time. Anyway, when I got out onto the driveway, Sweepy must have doubled back, and was peering round the hedge looking at me, and he is sitting on the desk now, watching me type.

Now that he is back, and has been given the good news, he says

to everyone for their votes.

Didn't see Sasa while I was out there, although presumably she would have had to have wandered a very long way to reach Essex
