Well mine eat grass most days and have never heard that before.

I have never even mentioned it to my vet or back in Kockas days either.

The vet said that eating grass is a sign that there is too much stomach acid.

Hope he is ok. Real grass, as opposed to that kitty stuff, shouldn't be a problem I don't think. When mine had a cat run, they used to nibble every day and then chuck up (never outside; always on the carpet!).
I had to remove that pot grown kitty grass from Max as it made him vomit a lot including weird colours. Could you try him away from grass for a few days to see if he settles? Try not to worry (I know, imposs).

Mine eat grass every day too.

Sounds like a furball to me - they can bring up yellow bile when they have one

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Both yesterday and this morning he ate his grass and then threw up grass and yellow liquid.  rang the vet who says if he does it again tomorrow he wants to see him.  Vet also said that Charlie should NOT be eating grass every day.

I don't know why and you may think I am being silly but I have this awful dread in the pit of my stomach that there is something wrong with him and I have had it for a few weeks.

I'm surprised at your vet saying that, mine eat grass most days. Its the first thing they do in the morning when they all wander out into the garden. Some of them then throw up some grass, some don't, they've always done it.

Hopefully your fears will be unfounded and Charlie is fine

we had a weekend a while back where Oscar was sick about eight times, yellowly liquid and in the end just foam - the vet couldn't find anything wrong with him and he has been fine ever since, it had been raining heavily and he had been hiding in bushes a lot, I wondered if something had got on to his coat that had irritated his stomach from a plant or something - its natural to worry
