Ah I see Paddy beat me to it in the posting stakes.   Just sending more little tummy rubs and munch munch munch to my favourite "itty bitty kitties" at Paws Inn this morning, and adding healing vibes for that little Pedro and Marguerita - and a big thank you to Minimopsical for her generosity in - erm, sharing  :-[ her food    .

Paddy, I think you will be very moved and very proud to read the email I got from Teresa not 30 seconds ago:

"Marguerita has just stolen Minimopsicals food and yes this time I am certain she wolfed big chunks down".

Hello everyone, I've had an email from Teresa with an update on these little ones:

"Marguerita is still having problems feeding: she is sucking the food instead of biting and getting worn out long before her tummy is full, thought she had overcome it yesterday but only Pedro had" [Teresa and her vet are working hard with Marguerita and hope to be able to report progress soon].

"Pedro and Diablo seem to be doing well.  Diablo's sight and hearing were checked by Rebecca yesterday: we have had a miracle, he can see in both eyes and can hear a little."

So we need special good wishes for Marguerita still.  But WHAT BRILLIANT NEWS about Diablo  :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy:

They are still battling on Sue.  They are tough little ones.  T is very concerned about Pedro and Marguerita but they are still bright and eating well, so still keeping evrything crossed for them.  Diablo has sight and we are convinced he can also hear....I watched him tear around the floor on yesterday chasing a ball.

Thanks for asking about them and sending cuddles.

Looking at those pictures, I wonder if there is a chance that Diablo may eventually have sight in both eyes?

I do believe in miracles so live in hope.
Just set up a pen and moved the wee ones into the kitchen; have been bringing them in for bath and play anyway, now the weather has gone colder it makes sense for me not to be wondering round garden in middle of night in PJ`s.

    Oh Teresa - I am so sorry for laughing, but I well know that feeling.  Paddy is much better now that he is at the vet so often and is resigned to the car journies, he tends just to vomit now, which is easier to clean up, but in the past - well, I empathise!   But at least it means Pedro's bowels are improving.   ;D  And am so glad Diablo has some vision.  :wow:

At least their weight is steadily improving too, and I share Gail's feeling that these little kits will grow up to be the most beautiful cats.

Hang on - nom nom nom nomnom!    :wow:  There should be a nom-nom smiley!

I am really pleased that Diablo has vision in one eye as you hoped  ;D  I'm also pleased about Pedro's pooping success, and that his weight is at least starting to catch up even if they all have a way to go yet.  Hugs to Marguerita too.

Kittens bathed this morning and looking beautiful. Vet appointment 10.40 and driving along dual carriageway when the smell hit me; Diablo had done one huge poo and all 3 seemed to be swimming in it, got to car park opened carrier and began emergency clean up good thing I carry baby wipes and clean bedding, kittens escape and climbing up my car seat and I notice big lump of poop stuck in my thumb nail, somehow we made it into vets looking immaculate though car pongs
Pedro loves Rebecca and climbed up her arm onto her shoulder and perched like a parrot while she examined the other two, all 3 weighed, Marguerita 335g; Pedro 336g and Diablo 346g, they are all grossly underweight still as was expected. Diablo has vision in one eye. Vet has a break and decides to play with Pedro who she calls gorilla legs and Caroline vet nurse cuddles Marguerita, Diablo decides to run around the waiting room, ( no other animals in as surgery over) Caroline enjoying her cuddle with Marguerita and saying how sweet she is when plop plop plop dollops of runny poop decorate her nurses uniform, out with the wipes again and all kittens returned to carrier and yes you`ve guessed Diablo did his poop  on the trip home, so washing machine on again. All had a good feed and currently asleep. :Luv:
BTW Rebecca pleased with Pedros bowels so far

Now Gail dont you be getting jealous, plenty of messy heads and bellies to go round. In truth they are running me ragged Diablo is a greedy boy who can see a little more than he lets on,
Marguerita still suckles her solids so getting enough into her is a nightmare but I think we are getting there; Pedro well sometimes he manages to poop other times he scratches my hand raw while I try to stimulate him, he is fussy over food and now will only eat Chicken applaws, I know that is not good but its better than nothing, I force AD into him to try to improve the nutrients; the poor washing machine is still on
