Oh noes, Toby's seen the pics of Diabolo and he's gone off in a huff... He's developed an inFURiority complex about the length of his tail, which is, I must add, significantly shorter than Diabolo's. Seriously, that's one heck of a long tail! 

Before he took himself off, Toby instructed me to say that he hopes that Pedders can get his singing homework done soon, but he's not sure that corny toes would taste particularly good...

He's glad to hear that Paddy's been warming up his vocal cords on the aria though.

Normal poop has resumed,now hoping that 2 days without the lactulose doesnt cause severe constipation. Pedro is as bright as a button,wolfing his food down as normal and driving me mad as usual.

Yes, Teresa and Sue, I know what you mean about reactions to medication.  It is a worry.  For some years I confess I did not give Blip regular flea treatment because I was worried about plying her with chemicals prophlyactically, but then she went and got some passengers so I have used flea treatment ever since.  I did find that Stronghold was better for her than other products - it caused less reaction - so I guess my opinion now is to find the least disruptive medication for the individual.

Hello Pedro - is me here 'cos Paddy is having a snooze.  Am so pleased you had some nice food, and hope also that it doesn't bung you up, me little feller    Now, you see, Minimopsical, she's a lady too.  And she's a good role  model so she won't never chew your whiskers off (Diablo - really! tsk!!)  We loves her too.   

I know what you mean Teresa.  It worries me too.  I used to be a big fan of Nuvantop years ago, and then they began to report serious concerns over problems with a couple of the chemicals contained in that, but by then those of us using it had been doing so for some time totally unaware.  We're very much at the mercy of drugs manufacturers these days.  I know our vet bemoans the fact that the treatment he'd like to give Pad for his Hyper-T is no longer an authorised med.  Am very glad Pedro is better today than he was yesterday though.

No fleas just routine treatment but annoying  thing was I used stronghold because Olly needed doing an when he had frontiline combo it burnt a big hole in his neck, Olly rarely goes into Pedro but I didnt want to take chances so Pedders got stronghold, I am becoming increasingly concerned about reactions caused by preparations/ medications this year there have been too many; now routine things like vaccinations/flea/worm that I have never worried about are becoming a nightmare.

Allo its a pawly Pedro ere an itz all my mums fault. She put Stroghold on me last night and today I haz tumknee ache and a bit of a temperature. Mummy just rushed me to the vet coz I culdnot eat my tea and I have pooooooooooooooopppppppppppppped everywheres all wet and runny and stinky  Dave the vet said my tumknee is very distended and gave me a big needle wiz sum steroids in it,he has put note on mys file to say I cant haz the strongholds,seems my little boidy does na lik all these chemicals; I ave to stop aving my lactulose for 2 days now and ave special foods to put me right but I not want foods at min cos I feel sick and my tumknee urts me. And my mummy feels very very guilty.

Been working things out and Pedro has eaten 9 sachets of Hilife and 1 of Natures menu since Thursdays vet trip and all that come out is the remains of the barium meal which resembled a piece of coke it was so dried up and 1x 3inch poop which looks normal, I live in hope and where others do a rain dance I do a poop one Hes happy and bright in himself and will not be standing as an MP,we only have senators  and masters here,think perhaps he will become Poop Master General
