Andy brought a very happy Pedro home safely earlier this afternoon,he thinks that Pedro has quite a few abnormalities going on inside him,its going to be trial and error food and medication wise and possibly another barium xray.

Anyway heres Pedro

Ello everybuddy, I iz ome but I az ad a big adventure,it started off wiz me bowels bein like a mountain nice an solid,well bit too solid an zen big ard lumps come out after I pushed and pushed,zat caused an avalanche of poopy liquid zat had bin buildin up inside mez to come out, I culdnt feel it but I was plastered and Mumt spend hours washins me bum,it started to urt me and vet kept me in ospital and still zis poop water com out,so vet nurses ad to keep washin me,well it wos mostly Caroline an I luvs er so I didnt miss mumT too much.I az ad sum needles but ze vets are at a loss az to wot appens insides me,I knew it woz serious cos 2 of vet nurses were cryin cos they ave nowed me since I woz tiny,an all ze vets were lookin at me anz saying zat zey didnt fink operashion wuld elp and I wuld end up being put to sleep cos zey culnt control mez, anyhow zis morning I passed a big ard poop all by meself anz all the water poop stopped so Andy brought me home, but first e ad to go to check some moocows so I az bin to a farm an I kept im cheerful on ze journey.
I az kissed Minimopsical till she growled at me,guess I woz a bit too overpowering, I ave kissed MumT till she culdnt stop coughing, I ave pushed out 3 more big fat poop lumps an I az ad my tea, tiz gud to ave mez own bed back an I fink I iz ready for a snooze.

Andy has just phoned to say that Pedro is coming home

,hes passed a big solid poop. He thinks he has a faulty valve between large and small intestine as well as the mega colon, he is advising against surgery and feels that we have done so well in controlling him for long periods of time that we should continue what we have been doing and see how things go.
As I am unable to drive at present Andy is going to fetch him home for me,but first he is taking Pedro on a call out to see some cows; thats one lovely vet, bet Pedro will thoroughly enjoy his adventure and tell you all about it soon.

Been to visit Pedders this morning,he looks a little brighter but vet is keeping him in, hes gone from a chunky boy to a very scrawny one in 48hours. I am worried sick about him, I sat down and read the whole of this thread from start to finish hoping for inspiration and I ended up in floods of tears as I found myself reliving so many nightmares that I had forgotten.One thing is certain Pedro is a fighter so he will give it his best shot.

Just a quick update, Pedro has been having problems with his bowels again, we managed to clear the blockage yesterday morning but he is still having problems , vet has hospitalised him. He is in pain and not his usual happy self.

Unkle Paddyyyyyyyyyyy I iz now avin handful of biccies and mez poopin az bin gud.Just as well really coz Mumt bin very buzy wiz all ze other cats.I az 2 new girlfriens but I iz only allowed to look at zem and talk to zem ,zey iz in isolatshuns in small collapsible pen in ouse az they need potty trainins ,Bella and Pansy zey is only 6months anz zey ad it very bad, zey were covered in de poop and so skinny wen zey cum in a week ago,but now zey cleaned up and got full tums zey iz very prewty but scrawny.
Milly mez feral friend cums to see me lots of times but she az bin suckin up to mumt and wen mumt sits on Busters Bench she iz zere for lots of strokes and I eard Mumt call er her speeshul girl now mumt asnt called anyonez er speeshul girl since she lost Iris so sumfinks going on mefinks.
Herbie rta asked mez to tell ya e iz doins just fine an iz luckiest boy alive.
Other newbies Benji and Barney are teribulls sopranos zey neva sto singin,zey iz goins to nutcracker (neuter)tummow zat might quiet em down

Paddy's a bit tired this morning and he's having a long lie in, but he sends a big whiskery PPPrrrrffppppt for you and looked very impressed when I told him about the 24 biscuits! He said he doesn't think he's ever done 24 biscuits in one sitting, so you make him very proud
