Had a lovely afternoon at the show with lots of lovely puss cats. Lots of siamese for some reason but only one bengal. There was a lovely eygptian mau there, very attractive some beautiful abysinians and a stunning red persian who was huge
My faves were still the ragdolls though but the maine coons came a very close second one of either of those breed would be very welcome in my house
. Nearly forgot the british shorthairs who were lovely too.
Bought the boys some new toys and a fab litter tray with a nice removeable lip on it which will hopefully contain some of the litter but unfortunately it won't fit under the table so I think it will have to be their bathroom tray instead. Jameson's mum would love it - it's pink
I also bought them some Almo Nature dry food to try and see what it's like, it has 26% organic chicken and even the cheese in it is organic. I also bought myself a lovely Hello Kitty watch for £12.00 and a fab limited edition print by a lady called Margaret Hobson who is a member of the Society of Feline Artists, she does the original paintings then does 50 prints from that original, mine is number 2 of 50. It's gorgeous and only cost me £35.00 and it's framed and mounted too. It will take pride of place above my mantelpiece.
All in all a good day although I have to say I prefer the TICA shows to the GCCF ones, much friendlier and you get to watch the judging. We (Gateshead CP) are having a stall at the Catica show in Gateshead on 21st and 22nd June so I get to spend two whole days surrounded by cats - how good is that
