Well done to Memphis!  And all the winners.  Although all the entrants are winners in my book.  And the rescues that will benefit from this are the real winners.  Well done to everyone concerned (even if I didnt get to vote in the final  :P :P ;))

Well done to Memphis, Lucas and Riley, Misa and Jameson - worthy winners all  ;D It's been great fun and my boys were very proud to get into the semi finals.

I also want to say a huge thank you for letting us at Gateshead CP have such a wonderful donation. Like Sharon I will make sure it goes towards something special and will consult with our welfare officer when she comes back from holiday. I'll also consult with myself since I am the co-ordinator

Have done a full day's fundraising today and am back there tomorrow and this has just made my tiredness disappear.

Thanks especially to Gill and to Tan for giving us such a brilliant show.  :Luv:

Just wanted to congratlate Memphis and all the other finalist... I was very hard to decide.. but its been all good fun..

But I have just noticed that some of the proceeds of the competition entrys will go to our CP branch (Canterbury) and would like to thank everyone for that.. We would like toput it towards something extra special and i will liases with the co ordinator and welfare people to decide what would be the greater need.. for our branch..

Thanks everybody...

There is just something about Memphis - I think it's the hilarious expressions on his face - it's like he's been caught redhanded in every pic but still manages to look so innocent!

Wait a minute, news just in...  An anony-mouse source has revealed a disturbing pic of Memphis taken by an undercover reporter - he is in fact a dog and should be immediately disqualified from the cat show and stripped of his title :evillaugh:

I love it. Also should I admit now that Memphis is an honorary Border Collie. The BC people agree he is well and truly a Border Cat  :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

Congratulations to everyone else too  Thanks to everyone who voted for my scrumptious little man and thank you so much Gill for setting it all up and to Tan for having such a wonderful board  :Luv: :Luv:

Well done to everyone and I am so pleased that I was part of it even though Tibby, Smudge and Bonnie didn't go far.  Thing is we have such lovely cats and it is soooooo difficult to choose.

Enjoyed the fun.

Awww - fantastic - I'm delighted to see Jameson won the Special Award! What a clever little boy I have getting his paws in TWICE in the Show Final!
On behalf of Jameson (he is out jumping around in the garden with a ping pong ball) I would like to thank everyone that voted for him, but also to everyonetaking part in this important competition to raise money! Each entry is a winning one - and I'm very pleased we've raised so much money for cat rescues! That to me it all that matters!

Memphis, Lucas, Riley and Misaman - well done for making it in the top 3, and to all other puddies - you are all equally gorgeous and special and the main thing is not winning, but parttaking!

Here's to lots more happy snapping for next years fundraising competition!!!!

Lots of love and loud tractor-like purrs...

Big thanks to everyone who took part in the cat show, we've raised a fantastic amount with every single penny going to cat rescue, also a huge thanks to Gill for all her hard work running the show :thanks:

Lucas and Riley would like to publicly thank all those good people that voted for them :thanks:  As for those that didn't...  :P

They would like to graciously admit defeat to a younger, better looking model - the one and only Memphis *round of applause*  Congratulations Memphis  :1st place:

Ah well, I never got to vote :(  Tried to last night but it was locked so I didn't unlock it and vote as I assumed there must be a reason for it being locked.  I think I thought that voting closed at the end of today (ie at 11.59!) so I'm too late now.

Is the voting for the final closed?  It appears to be although it says 20th June for the closing date?  Or has it been accidentally locked?  I unlocked it and then realised it may have been locked for a reason.

Maybe I'm a bit jet lagged or something as I've just got back from Italy but does this make sense to anyone?

Voting will finish 2100 hours on  20 June 2008  (Voting closes: June 17, 2009, 05:58:08 PM)

I've voted for 3 and it let me so I hope I've not missed out.

Have I missed something in the week that I've been away?  Sorry if it's already been mentioned in any of the posts, not read any yet!!  Too busy kissing and stroking Bonnie.

The Cat Show Final will be opening for voting sometime tonight, after 2200 I think  ;D

The cats have been put on in alphabetical order so no special treatment is given to any. The number of votes you have has changed again ....................no you cant have 12 votes

Its gonna be very hard to choose cos they are all absolutely stunning but we are going for the big one now, Top Cat 2008 plus a second and third.

I would just like to thank every one who entered their cats in the show because they were all so gorgeous , it was a challenge every round to vote with lots of heart searching  ;D

As Tan has said every cat was a winner and by entering this will help a rescue. I have enjoyed this years show so much and as you know we are plotting and planning next years show already, so get snapping  ;D ;D
