I want to get one of them making their gibbering noises at the kitchen window, when they see the pigeons - and when they're wrestling. The wrestling one will be hard, as they do that when we're not in the same room, but we can hear them. When we go through to see what they're up to, they just stop and stare as if.... "whaaat? we is not doing anyfing wrongs"....  :sneaky:

Noticed some great YouTube vids of cats and kittens, so I thought I'd do one of Findlay playing in the bath. It's very long (about 6 minutes), so I'm not expecting anyone to sit through the whole piece.

Fab staircase though I can just imagine your furries tearing up and down there.

They do! Who needs a scratch-pole-type-climbing-structure when you've got 3 1/2 flights of stairs??  ;D It's especially good when they're chasing each other up and down, the noise it makes can be heard all over the house!

Quote
he was standing on the top banister overlooking the drop

Findlay does that too. When he was a wee kitten he actually FELL (yes, fell!) that drop, right down to the very bottom. You'd think he'd learn wouldn't you, but he still likes to jump up and sit on the top bannister..... (as the photo below shows, there's always something down there which is soft to land on....) But, as you say, it gives me a near heart-attack whenever you seen him up there..... You feel like you've turned into a hostige negioator, trying to talk him down!

Great pictures  ;D

Way back when in my bedsit days the house i lived in had stairs like that and at the top was a window. It had been very hot and someone had opened it and we had a thunderstorm and torrential rain which was coming in. So someone tried to shut the window and it slammed and the glass fell out so some idiot gave me heart attack cos he was standing on the top banister overlooking the drop trying to attach a plastic sheet across the broken window.

He made it but I couldnt stand to watch!

Some more of Findlay....

A nice wee close up of 'kato'

This second shot tells more of the story. He likes to lie there, poking his head through the bannister.....

But when you think of 'where' that favourite spot is, it kinda makes you feel a bit nervous!!!

Thing is (as well) he's half Bengal, but every picture we have makes him look like a tabby. Nowt wrong with tabbys of course, our Leo was one of the best tabbys I've ever met. But when he does his 'Long Cat' (cue music for YMCA..... 'long cat, he's bigger than meeeeeeee. Long cat, he's as big as can beeeeeeee.......' etc) he shows off his spotty chest and belly, and we can never get a picture of it...!

One day...  ;)

I know that this looks a bit 'staged', but the 'wiggly waggler' (as recommended by Bilbo and Baggin's Dad) was already sitting on the wee 2-seater couch. Findlay decides that he wants to snooze there, and started cuddling the thingy!

He's still sleeping with it, and these pics were taken about half hour/nearly an hour ago...!  ;D

Findlay meets George Foreman...

Don't worry, it wasn't switched on.  ;)

Findlay being cute, he now knows that if he lies like this - he'll get tickles....

Duncan chillin' out in one of his many boxes....

The wee bit of polystyrene acts as a very good sturdy pillow.

Sorry about quality of the pics. They were taken on my mobile phone.

As cute and endearing as they are, being waken up at 6.30am this morning with them wrestling in the bedroom - kinda makes you think slightly differently!

Bouncing off the wardrobes and pouncing on each other from the dressing table, aka SAS stylee!!   :shify:

He's not 'big' big, but sturdy enough and definately well cuddly..... however..... he's not a fan of being picked up and held. He'd put up with it for about 30 seconds, do a meaow without opening his mouth, telling us through gritted teeth "I do not like this. I'm merely tolerating it. Right, you can put me down now."

He's get a bit more tolerant each month,  very slow progress, but he's still a top cat!
