Hiya

Only joined members can see your profile. The guests can only view posts and nothing else same as CC.

However, if some troll does join, yes then they can see your profile but only after a certain number of posts.

Nick do you mean it's not safe even if "hidden from the public"?
If so, can we have a profile here without an email address in it?

Thanks for the warning Nick ... however I must say if peeps hadn't put their email addresses on their profiles on the CC forum I would never have been able to contact everyone and let them know where we had all moved to.
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

I just wanted to point out that it is generally not safe to place your email addy anywhere on the net  as there are computer programs that search the net (spiders) for email addresses so you can be added to lists for spamming.
I have just got a new email addy because I ended up with over 100 spams per day ! most of it filth

Perhaps someone more in the know can advise on this better than me but I always insert something to spoil the email address for a random reader yet not be unclear for a human reader like putting [at]  instead of @  in the address.
