Because it is steroid based it will cause the skin to thin; so please dont over use it and dont use it to treat any little thing that pops up.

I have also used this, and it did work well - although I was good and wore gloves, didn't want any side effects from the steroids.

I'm using this on Becky at the moment and it's fine.  I've been told to wear gloves when using it as well, but when do I listen

Hmmn, I just looked it up in NOAH compendium and it says for use in dogs only, maybe it's one of those drugs that is licensed for dogs only but is safe and effective with cats too?  I'd definitely ring the vets before using it!

I haven't used it myself but Teresa has recommended it in the past...  Perhaps there is a dog version and a cat version though?  I'd give the vets a quick ring just to be on the safe side.

Perhaps some wound powder or Fuciderm cream just in case.

Has anyone used this on their cats? Took Barney to the vets yesterday for his paw irritation. They shaved a bit of his leg gave him some metacam, synulux injection + synulux tabs. They also gave me some fuciderm gel to rub on his paw twice daily. Well I have just opened the packageing and it says it is for dogs, no mention of cats in the leaflet.

I have just googled this fuciderm medication and a couple of sites say it is for dogs only.
