Cleaning the litter trays

I did wonder whether I should point out that I do use a different scrubber for my own dishes and pans    Although there is a bit of a story there as I tend to leave the litter tray one near the sink to dry out.  I know that but visitors dont' always.......

lots of running water and a scrubbing brush, followed by (when possible) airdrying outside in the sun!

I clean with washing up liquid and water (I use a pan scrubber to scrub it clean), dry it then spray with Johnsons Clean n Safe, leave for a couple of minutes and wipe dry with paper towels.

spray and rinse and dry wipe with dilluted vetaclean for about  4 pound you dilute it up to to 10 litres i think any way cheaper than buying the sprays which cost about  3 pounds for only a diluted  500ml    you should be able toi get it at your vets

I've actually always used Ecover all purpose spray as it says it's safe around food and pets...

I need a disinfectant with no amonia in for the boys so just wondered what everyone uses for theirs

I wash out my 4 litter trays in the bath; its the only the only thing that will hold all the trays and scoops etc  (3 of them are jumbo littertrays!) using hot water and a scrub brush.
They're then left to drain and sprayed liberally with 'clean and safe' disinfectant from PAH. It kills all viruses including Coronavirus.
Then they get dried off with old towels......the towel goes straight in the wash afterwards.
All great fun

I wash them out with hot water and washing up liquid. Rinse out then spray with "bugs away" leave for a few minutes and dry with kitchen paper.

I'm lucky that the sink in our new kitchen is big enough to take a covered tray 

Naturally disinfect the sink when I am done
