Thanks, for your input, I think that we will go for 2 as it does seem the positive way to go. Thanks again.

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

They are no trouble at all .... considering they spend most of the time fast asleep!

I would go for 2 kittens together as they can entertain each other and will twice the fun for you.

Do you cope ok with them? I think that I am just concerned that it will be too much, but I would dearly love to get a new kitten and think too together would be better for them.

I have 3 ... I originally had my two Abyssinian's (Foxy and Zephyr) who are now 6 years old, then 18 months ago Rosina (Rossi to her friends) join our family.  I wasn't planning on getting another kitty and she was only supposed to be staying with me for a few days but she fitted in so well and the other two accepted her straight away so she stayed.

Hi this is my first post, I have an adult cat and would like a to home a kitten, but I am thinking that maybe I should get 2 so that they can be playmates. That would make 3 cats. So my question is how many cats, are too many? I would be interested to find out how many cats you guys own.

I would also just like to add that I can afford the upkeep of 3 cats.

Thanks.
