More than likely - even Willow ate some.

The trouble is, dogs might like the chewy clumps

I am going to order Extreme Classic I think. £10.99 for 15kg. It says it lasts as long as 45kg of regular so worth a go.
It looks the same as golden grey so I might order one of each and see if one is better than the other.

Maybe it is the brand - Mine is in a plain white paper sack.

I can't stand the bran smell. I am going to order some Golden Grey or other fine clumping. I prefer the smell of baby talc to farmyard

Sorry this didn't work for you Mark, I was getting all excited too as I've not tried it yet. It's curretly costing me £30 a month for litter for the three here

At least I learned that fine clumping is the way to go. I tried flushing some the other day and nearly blocked the toilet so bag it now anyway. I am really funny with smells and this just makes me

I tried chick crumb for a few weeks, but abandoned it, partly because it's a pain to get hold of, and partly because, contrary to what others have said, it smells

It smells kinda yucky when it's 'fresh', feed smell I suppose, but if the clumps disintegrate something in it produces FAR more ammonia than is the case for Fullers Earth, for example. However, although I can't get it that cheaply, it seems to go a lot further than Fullers Earth. I like the fact that it's biodegradable, though. The cats don't seem to mind either way.

I have decided not to get this anymore. It goes all over the place + I can't stand the farmyard smell - It smells like wet hay or something.

I think I will get an ultra fine clumping next time.

It works out cheaper even with postage and their deliveries are very good. I normally buy 100kgs in one go - lasts me about a month!!! but don't forget I have nine litter trays. Will probably be doing an order next week so if you want me to get you a bag I will. Used to get it from Countrywide - an equestrian suppliers on line, but the one from Ascot smallholdings seems somehow to be a better quality and last alot longer.

I am converted, tried it at the weekend for the 1st time and its a huge hit, Raffiki ate a little bit but then decided he didnt like the taste

I am amazed because it clumps better than the most expensive clumping litter

I have only been able to get small sacks so am on the lookout for a stockist near us that does the 20kg sacks.

Obviously I've only one cat, but being totally indoors, the tray does get used all of the time.

I scoop twice a day, poos in the loo, wees in the bin, I only change it completely every 2 weeks, but do top up in between. It NEVER smells, and clumps brilliantly so you get everything out really easily.

Yes but one of my trays sees alot less traffic as well all 3 hammer the one in my office/box room and the one in the bath room but the hall one not so much so when really pushed for time I can let that one slide a little

that's what I do, once you've removed your clumps it doesn't smell at all you could probably go longer than a week but I don't

Haven't tried it yet but it was about £8.60 for 20kg - they had 5kg for £3.50 but I couldn't resist a bargain

I am not used to clumping so is it a case of taking out clumps regularly with a compete change once a week?

I was doing a homecheck this morning and it wasn't too far from a pet feed place Sharon asked me to check out. I asked about chick crumb and I wasn't the first person that had bought it for cat litter

Anyway, will try it out and see what happens. I'm always chnaging litter brands so should be any problem.

Anything I need to know about it?
