Someone on here did the same thing with B&Q shelves and fixed carpet samples to them, photo's looked great :)

Yep, here it is... from this thread http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,10239.0.html

I never got round to doing this for the boys, I know they'd love it.

I love the cats house!  :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:

I agree you should be able to make these step's/ledges yourself with a bit of DIY knowhow!  ;D

Pics are a must when project is finished though!  ;)

I know this is an old post, but i thought perhaps Puffball you might have bought those wall mountable hammocky type things now. I just wanted to know whether they were *easy* to put up? Did it take much - god forbid - DIY? And, are they quite sturdy?

I haven't ordered the hammocks yet, but I did order some nice shelf brackets and when they arrive I'll have my local DIY store cut the wood to size and make some carpeted shelves that lead up to a couple of the hammock loungers high on the walls.

Someone else posted this on another thread... http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ny/pet-decor-2006-entries/my-designs-dreamy-cat-stairs-3-010732 although my shelves will have brackets I'll probably lay them out something like this. Of course the cats will then studiously ignore all my efforts and flop down on the floor

And doesn't this look like fun... http://www.thecatshouse.com/  :evillaugh:

I enquired about these a while ago. The measurments are 41 x 42 x 15cm. Unfortunatley they stuck out too far into my hallway to be much use to me (i've got a narrow hallway and was trying to give dodging space to my cats especially as RW's turned into the guardian of the gateways  :evillaugh:).
The wall walkway system is intriging though; any one found something similar in the uk?
Though having said that they look like shelves to me..........

I'm new here and have spent some time reading through threads. I too live in a 1 bedroomed flat and am adopting two kitties in a few weeks time. I have bought a reasonably large cat tree today but those shelf type things look great!

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Someone on here bought the floor to ceiling one - I think it may be "The hooded claw" unless he's changed usernames again  :evillaugh:

Cat climber, can't find what I'm looking for
« Reply #1 on: May 08, 2008, 21:21:37 PM »
Hi All

A few weeks ago I found an item on the internet that I should have bought there and then as, after several hours of searching, I can't find it again! Can anyone help please?

I was looking for a UK company selling floor to ceiling cat trees (I have a vague recollection I followed a link from this site on affordable cat trees but can't find it now). Anyway, after looking at a cat tree the "Also recommended" section suggested a wall mounted cat lounger; it consisted of two metal posts with rounded ends that stuck out from the wall and suspended between was a fleecy hammock type lounger, they recommended buying several to create a wall mounted cat gym which would be great... if only I had acted straightaway!

The closest I can now find is a US company... http://www.wallcats.com/ Rather pricey with shipping and I recall the one I saw before was quite reasonably priced

If anyone knows what I am talking about or can recommend an alternative please let me know

Many thanks :)
