Same, Bren. I have five cats of my own, plus one I'm caring for. I'm prety sure my partner would blow a gasket if another one appeared in the house!

Not to mention we couldn't afford it....when I'm rich...... :innocent:

Sorry, Bren. I'm in Derbyshire and no, I don't have an idea. Whoever cared for the cat(Molly) would have to contact their local rescues and explain the situation. They may be put on a list or due to the circumstances help might be offered immediately.

Freecycle again! I know some of you think it's an acceptable way to rehome but I've been in touch with a lady who helps her friends rehome through the site and received this today:

"hi again!
had txt off person who was supposed to coming today and they cant make it.the thing is that the cat belongs to my mate, and her landlord has told her that shes got to rehome cat,by tomoz evening, as hes coming to check, if you can get over today......"

Cut it short because contact details followed. But I'm a bit concerned, so was wondering if anyone had any temporary space for a black cat called Molly until a rescue could take her in. Just out of interest, surely the landlord is supposed to give more time to organise alternative accomodation? (Although, they may have done and it's been left until the last minute I suppose.)
