DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Shame on the branch that left her to get pregnant again!

What I would say about that is that often people lie to try to put the blame on others. I can’t tell you the number of times people have told others they have phoned CP, and it would have been me, but they have not rung or if they did I was out and they didn’t leave a message.

I remember a post on Purrs once from a member who lives in our town and she was told that CP and other rescues did not want to know, when I know for a fact I had spoken to that person and was doing I could to help.

I think it depends on the branch.  She said she'd contacted them a few times about this one even when she was pregnant with her last lot.  My head must have been frazzled when I posted last night because she is actually a long haired tortie  :-[  She seems a really laid back girl but she will need dematting once her babies are old enough, I'm going to try and get the matts out myself but some are quite big  :tired:  I'll take some piccies of her later  :Luv:  :Luv:

I'm sorry, but any CP branch who knew there was an un-neutered female wandering around would have neutered it straight away. There's no way we would ever leave such a "high risk" cat un-neutered!!!

No wonder the other cat was attacking her if she had'nt been spayed!  :(

Good luck with these kitties!  ;)

Just on my way out to a meeting earlier and a lady phoned about a stray cat that she'd been trying to get sorted for the last couple of years and she'd had kittens outside.  On getting there after my meeting, it turns out the cat is hers but she said she's like a stray as she would only come home now and again because of her other cat attacking her  :tired:  The other one is spayed but this one who is 5 years old obviously isn't  >:(  She said she'd been mithering the CP and the RSPCA for the last couple of years about her and waiting for a place but to no avail.  She's a gorgeous long haired tabby/white girl with a touch of tortie and has two gorgeous scrummy babies  :Luv:  :Luv:
