I had problems when I first got Kocka and I had decided that Kocka was male. Thwe first time Kocka went to the vets I asked the woman, and she said Kocka was female , this was a cat who is about 10yrs old, Fine I took home Kocka and thought no problem Kocka is a unisex name
The she got ill again about 8 months later and she was registered with her insurance as a she ansd I called her Miss Kocka etc, and the vet who owned the practice called her a poor little man! I said but I was told she was a she and anyway look at her tummy........He laughed and said no Kocka is a he, a neutered he and all cats have tummys like that
Poor Kocka, I didnt think she could stand another sex change and she was always she and the vet records even said to refer her as a she and they called her she until about 8 years later and some aussie bloke vet started calling her a poor little fella.....I pointed out that she was known as she and registered with insurance as she but he insisted on calling her a he and a man

Thanks everyone. I have just 'Googled' my question and the answer is 'yes, male cats have the same number of nipples as females.' I should have done that in the first place but it was very nice to hear from everyone!

Yup, and not a silly question at all, one of the first things I was worried about when I first adopted Max 8 years ago, wondered what the little lumps on his tummy were
We all gotta start somewhere

I feel incredibly stupid asking this but....do male cats have nipples???? I can feel and see a little lump on Basil's chest which has a brown tip to it. Problem is, I can't find anything similar on his t'other side!
