Well we think she was in that tree!!

We were upstairs, calling for her, when she appeared being chased by a big Tabby cat from under a bush ... I screamed lol, I hardly even recognised her, she's Black/Green from head to foot, and smells like Conifer! I have never ran so fast in my life, down to open the patio doors, and just grabbed her. She was so scared, but now after some Applaws and a big drink she's relaxing on the scratcher... soon to be zonked out i think!

 :Luv2: :Luv: :thanks:

I'm so happy!

Still missing  :( 2 days and 2 nights now ...

We've put used litter all round our garden, left food out - some smelly tuna, also leafleted and got some posters printed today for putting up.

We've asked as many people as we see around here ... There's a huge tree, about 4 gardens down, and last night every now and again we thought we could hear a miow, i was sure it was her, but i think it was hopeful thinking. We can't see her up the tree, plus if she was stuck wouldn't she miow constantly?

We've been and knocked on the four houses near the tree twice but no ones ever been in, so we've put a leaflet through their door asking them to check their tree, we'll knock again later.

Come Home Malli xxx

your a few streets from my parents i will make them aware for you.

if you've only been there a few weeks try putting some familar smells around the doors, such as a little bit of used cat litter.

if there's a high cat population then putting food out for her probably won't help too much. also put a few poster on lamposts.

if she was a house cat before there is a chance some-one has her indoors, not everyone thinks to call the number on the collar.

I had a new cat turn up in the area last weekend and i called the number on the collar to be sure it hadn't strayed too far as it turned out to be owned by one of the new residents of the house opposite my rear garden who had just started to let him out, he was an un-neutered tom which could have easily strayed much further from home. She was grateful for the call as he hadn't figured out how to get back over the fence.

I cannot deny that a cat lover and his cat have a master/slave relationship. The cat is the master.

It's NEVER too soon t worry .... I panic if my lot have been gone for more than a couple of hours.

My best peice of advice is Posters posters posters .... literally flood the area with them and flyers through peoples doors (these do not need to be big flyers .... if you print them landscape you can get about 4 per page ... just long thin strips with a pic and contact details).  The quicker you get your posters out the better the chances of getting Malibu back home ... if she is new to the area she will be scared and probably hiding somewhere.

Good luck and stay positive hun xxxx

Thanks Very Much everyone, yes i have read the hints and tips.

So far no luck in finding her, most people say i am worrying too soon as she has only been gone 24 hours but we have only just moved to the area not long ago and she was a house cat before this.

My parent still live in bulwell, if you pm me and let me know where you are, if they're close i can let them know to keep and eye out.
They have a stretch of woodland near them that attracts alot of cats hunting so see many of them, if they're aware of a missing one they could probably help.

Malli has been missing since yesterday.

If by any slim chance anyone lives in this area please could you keep your eyes out for her?
