British Blues are a slow maturing breed and can take up to 4 years to reach their full size and weight! Your cat may not be fully grown yet as he's not yet 2. He probably won't grow a lot more in height, but he may fill out and develop some more muscle over the next year or so.

She will be about the same age as my 2 and they are pretty much fully grown.

I would imagine your new arrival will be fully grown. Just one thing we like to refer to our furry family members as either he / she or by their name ... NEVER "IT"!!!

Hi Darren, don't know anything about British Blues, but they are big cats so may take a while to mature ... Can't imagine they would do a lot of growing after 2 though ...
Here is the one i fostered, for comparison, she was an adult
