Thanks Lesley & Rosella xxxx

Its hard to believe these babies are 6 months old now but have gone to lovely families who have kept in touch (including my sister who could not resist!).

One of the little boys was very like his mummy - I called him shaker maker however his new family have given him a much better name - hes called Ichigo.  He's the bottom little boy in this pic.

Linda, i mentioned your name in a post that was edited, it was in no way a malicious sentence, i hope this isnt a case of chinese whispers where things have become exagerated?  :shify:

I did similar MM with another member's name and it needed to be edited too. Likewise certainly in no way malicious. In fact very complimentary.  A great pity that a weeny minority spoils stuff for the great Benglie and other breeds adoring   majority.

Exciting waiting for the latest Benglie photos ain't it?

I want a bengal!

Do you think anyone would notice if I put spots on my burmese? She's crazy enough to pass for a bengal just a tad small.

I accidently spent half my day looking at bengal pics, and serval pictures... It's all this threads fault!

Linda I hope you're okay and that you show us more pictures, otherwise you might get raided by a group of mad cat ladies on Purrs with our own cameras.

Sorry to say this but what the heck has it got to do with anyone else what you do?! I'm saddened it has got to the point that you felt the need to post this in the first place. I make no bones about wanting to own a Maine Coon kitty - would love to - pedigrees have their place in society and you only get pedigrees through proper, reputable breeding.

Linda sorry for any unpleasantness that has come your way

You are lucky to be surrounded by your Bengals (I am very jealous - my tabbies aren't quite the same even if they are mostly feral!)

You bring a wealth of knowledge and great pics of your mob and can help out with your wealth of knowledge of this majestic breed

Live and let live - can we have one cometo  live at the Clan cats please :Luv:

I knew that you were breeding on a small scale Linda from the "other" group, no one can doubt how much you love your cats and how devoted you are to them.  You have got a lot of good friends on here so please dont let the minority upset you.  You should be proud of the beautiful Bengals you have bred and I for one say that it is nothing to do with anyone else.

CS has hit the nail on the head - Reputable.

I know if and when I have another Bengal - You or Donna (where my boys came from) is the place I will go / come as I know they are loved from the day they are concieved to the day they leave to go to their forever home, their pedigree is purrfect and all is above board.

Still waiting for my Lenny pic  :Luv: :Luv:

It seems ridiculous that this kind of childish behaviour goes on but I've been caught up in the middle of it before on internet forums........the words 'nothing better to do' come to mind!

I think its safe to say that we all love our cats (and others too) whether they be pedigree or not.  It just makes no difference they all need our love.

I do have persians and they are all rescues but I would love a golden chinchilla persian kitten eventually which will come from a reputable breeder.  I have absolutely no issues with reputable breeders  its only those purely in it for the money that I have an issue with and that doesn't include you Linda!  ;)

It saddens me to hear that people are so childish and immature to do such things.  We are all grown adults and should act as such and respect each other even if we do have different opinions.  The ability to not have to deal with people face to face on a forum means that people think they can get away with such behaviour.  I am pleased that you have taken a stance on this.  Not everyone would be prepared to make such a statement and I am sure others will have suffered in silence in the past. Good for you.

I also would like to add that I love to see your bengal family and enjoy your updates.  I have learnt a great deal about the breed from people like yourself and I know that this has also helped rescues with their care of bengal cats that come into their care (how could I forget Estella!!).

Please don't let this minority stop the majority enjoying your babies and your comments (we don't just love you for your cats...honest!!  ;) )

I wasnt aware you bred bengals Linda, but that doesnt exclude you from this site anyway - after all, many of us on here also own pedigree cats as Gill has said. I'm sorry that someone has chosen to make an 'issue' of this and upset you and I hope it won't put you off posting on here.

Gillian has summed up what I was thinking too. I only got into rescue because I was fascinated by my pedigree cats. Both of my BSHs taught me about the differences in pedigrees and their personalities. As you all know I now have a BSH and a persian. Every cat that comes into rescue is incredible and special but it's not our fault if we love a particular temperament or markings.

Smokey came from a line of great persians and I had fun tracing his family, although he was never GCCF reg'd.

In a perfect world, reputable breeders such as yourself would be the norm, there'd be a wonderful and diverse range of happy, loved cats and we in rescue would have an easy life IMHO. It's not breeders who are the bad guys.

Hope the person who upset you has read the comments on this thread and has another think about stuff

Hi LInda, seeing your post has saddened me, I have to say.  I didn't know you breed, to be honest, it makes no difference to my opinion of you.

I can't add any more than has been said already, just wanted to say I hope you do stick around, as we all need our fix of your gorgeous Bengly Babes
