The idea of taking a cat for a 'walk' in a stroller is hilarious (although there was an article in one of the cat mags a while back about a cat whose owner took him shopping in a stroller!  Cat seemed to love it), but as an alternative to the traditional cat carrier, I think they could be very useful.

In 28 years I have never seen anyone taking there cat for a walk in one of those things!

Must be an American thing, I mean no one else would spend that much on what is essentially a buggy with two cheap carriers welded to it!! lmao

I just saw the price, even Dick Turpin wore a mask!

I've seen someone in Brighton walking around with two yappy-type dogs in a double-decker-doggy-buggy.  :scared:

I have to say, I am not a fan in the same way that I am not a fan of women who walk around with small dogs, half the size of one of my cats, tucked under their arm or in their handbag. (where do these little dogs poo?!)

However, there always seems to be a voice of reason and so I can now understand the cat show angle to see the usefulness of one of these. . . . .  . fair enough, I suppose it would make life a lot easier  . . . . .  . . but walking around the shops with one?? Hmmm . . . . can't quite fathom that!

Each to their own, I suppose - and that is what makes life so interesting!   ;D

CAT strollers. Look here: the enemy has taken them over
http://justpetstrollers.com/catstroller.html

I wouldn't mind one actually, if it wasn't a cool 250 dollars  could then walk em to the vets not take the car!

I would not class this as a useless product at all. It has many applications - as others have suggested, for getting into the vets, but also as they promoters suggest, for showing purposes. It is a major hassle getting two or more cats into the display area plus all their grooming stuff, litter trays etc, to have the cats on a trolley that is easy to steer and the rest of the stuff in a back pack would make life soooooooooo much easier - a great invention I reckon  :wow:

I can see the point of it for vet transport, but on first view I did wonder whether people actually take their pet out for a stroll in it!?
People do!! They are very popular, especially with elderly animals.

I could do with one of those instead of carrying Mig to the vet!

I know plenty of people use strollers although not seen the double ones.
