Your post made me laugh out loud!! And I actually read ''Cow'' instead of ''Crow'' and had this hilarious scenario in my head of your cat attached to some cows leg growling!

Jameson brought a pigeon in that was bigger than him. He proudly took it under the bed while I was asleep. Lucikly my partner noticed, and managed to get the pigeon out (alive). There was a battlefield in my bedroom and I slept through it all; hissing, snarling, boyfriend yelling, bird flapping and Jameson catching.

haha
layla bought me a present in in the summer. Come home from tescos and could see this black thing flying around in my daughters bedroom.. (layla just watching it). Thought "its too small to be a bird"
""A  :censored: BAT"!!!
I ran, called the neighbour who came got it out. Unharmed but more to the point layla was chuffed i suppose at catching such a thing.
It is usually frogs and live mice i find in the kitchen. and have seen her try wrestle a crow which was twice size of her outside. had to run out and scare it away for the safety of my cat lol

They also made thir first catch of the year two days ago which wasnt wonderful for the vole but made them very happy!
I hear ya! I went outside with Jameson this morning when he spotted a baby bird in a bush.... the bird didn't seem hurt, but it just wouldn't move and I had to coo to the bird for ages and tell it to fly for it's life cos there is a monster lurking in the bushes!!!

I didn't actually put him out (in that sense) - I just opened the flap and 'encouraged' him to go out. He could've gone back inside if he wanted to, but I saw him wrestle with leaves in the garden for ages so I thought he might have been bored and just followed me around in lack of other things to do.

5 minutes after I posted this thread he is fast asleep behind the door!

My two are both in/out cats but always in of a night time. Layla my bengal X goes threw phaises of play and attention. right now she is far from wanting attention & sisco my dlh is the opposite, wanting cuddles etc due to being cooped up in vets for 4 days.

It could be all kinds of things but I wouldnt put him outside unless he goes out by himself. Spring is in the air hopefully  ;D

My cats are 24/7 in/out cats but havent been going out much until last night when it was warmer and now they are in out like yoyos.

They also made thir first catch of the year two days ago which wasnt wonderful for the vole but made them very happy!

I'm sure Jameson is perfectly fine - but lately he has been more 'mumsy' than ever, he'll follow me everywhere and the last few days he has spent way more time indoors, than outdoors.
Indoors he is obviously very comfy, but also very playful (again, more than ever). Today he has been restless and seemed on edge - he wanted to play for ages, and when I put his toys down he'd continue on his own. (very amusing seeing him wrestle imaginary things behind the curtain) I put him outside for a while, and he came back after an hour, acting completely nuts! He'll run after his toys, then whack them - charge off in an incredibly speed, then stop, turn around and charge in another direction sliding across the livingroom floor. He'll also whack his toy mouse so it goes flying in the air, then run after it and continue juggling it and running at the same time - sometimes on his back legs!! It is hilarious to watch. I played with him for ages and he just got more and more excited. He'd charge off, then suddenly stop, look around, hunch down as if he is paranoid he's being followed! It is very amusing to watch him, and I think he's just being very playful today because I have seen him being this crazy and excited before. Just that now it's been going on for a while. I don't think he is bored as we play lots etc. I guess it's normal and he seems healthy. I just wondered if cats do this, and if they sometimes become more 'mumsy' than usual, and if that is a sign of anything? I know the weather has been c*ap lately, but not worse than before and that didn't stop him going out less. Maybe there is a new cat in the neighbourhood?
