Is there really no News out there that the Daily Mail wastes good paper printing such rubbish!

Why should they change the habit of a lifetime.

well i'm not believing that, even if the mating took place which i doubt the conception wouldnt be viable,

having said that they said zebra and horse couldnt mate either but that has happened..however thats a little more believable as they are basically cousins, unlike dog and cat !

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Only a very, very few really closely related species can interbreed (and the offspring are infertile). Cats and dogs certainly can't.

:D As someone said on the DM page, Cats and dogs have lived together for 1000s of years and it would  be a common thing - especially given that dogs will mount anything :D

It did get mentioned somewhere but I've lost it in allllllll the posts.

Its blatantly a fake anyway, those are some very cute puppies but no way did they come out of a cat. They wouldn't even be able to implant canine embryos into a cat and gestate them successfully, the cat's immune system would reject them very quickly and there would be blood incompatibilities etc.
Spaying and neutering saves lives.
