Any suggestions for my friends Bengal

I'm no expert but I would definitely get a second opinion. Whoever heard of the stress of a new cat in the household causing another cat to vomit blood!!!

Yes Bengal Poo does have a certain smell   - yikes.

Zeb is now 3 and been on 'normal' food since he turned 1. His poor tum was very deliate when he was a baby.

Not pooping for 2 days she deffo needs to go back. prefrably to see a different vet.

I saw a rescue in wales was selling lion cub poo to raise funds. Apparently, it stops cats going in your garden

Funny enough, I was discussing this with Candice last night, Becky, Benjy's and Dyson's absolutely hum

My 2 Bengals both had Really sensitive tums, now they are on Orijen they are fine and the Poohs dont even smell as bad (fellow Bengal owners will know what I mean about the smell of Bengal poo  ) but they have hardly ever vomitted.
Apparantly Megs hasnt had a poo for 2 days now either.

You know better than me Gail but aren't Bengals prone to stomach problems or is it just diarrhea?

Your correct they can have dicky tums when young.  Both my spotty boys had a runny bum, Zebedee till he was 1. Then it seemed to clear up. He was 7 months old before he could have his little boy op. because of it.
The sensitivity food sorted him.

Megs needs to have a few more tests to get her problem sorted it.

Im going to phone her tonight and suggest that she sees our vet Nina (she is the one who put Charlie back together after his accident) Nina is fantastic with cats and i think if anyone can help she will

I think the Bengal breed and Siamese tend to have numerous tummy problems, this little one definitely needs a second opinion.  It may be something simple that the vets overlooked or it could be serious, either way it needs to be checked.

My heart goes out to your friend - loosing a babe to FIP is so distressing  .

The vomiting blood, your friend needs to get a second opinion from another vet, try and keep the little one away from Megs just in case it is contagious.

She is in Lincs, I just wish I could do or say something to make her stop worrying so much.

I would get another opinion.  What area is she in?  Maybe someone on here can suggest a decent vet

Im not sure what if any tests have been done Mark, She seems convinced that it is the stress of the new little boy making things worse but to me it sounds more serious than that?

Poor Megs  - I don't know what else to suggest other than a second opinion from another vet. I assume the first vet has done tests?

Morning all, my freind lost her 14 month old Bengal  in Jan to FIP, she got another little snow girl a little while ago called Megs - she is about 6 months old.  She has been vomitting blood and is off her food completely the vets dont seem to have a clue what is wrong and my friend is absolutely worried sick.  I should add that she picked up a 3 month old little Bengal  boy last Sat.
Has anyone got any ideas what could be causing this please, I hate to hear my friend so upset.
