How is payment to be made? Would it be quicker with paypal as that way the money gets to the rescue quicker?

Get ya auction bits ready!!

It doesn't have to be catty bits (oooo owch!!  ;)) but it would be funny if ya could make up a catty selling speal to go with it. Not complusry of course. Pics are a great way of selling ya item too.

It can be anything that's postable. So not the kitchem sink!! :evillaugh:

If I noticed a name and I knew for sure they had already registered then I did not bother to send mail. Mind you I did not look at too many names and just got on with it so many of you will receive the mail.

Well I haven't got it! I have got things that Tiggy doesn't use/play with but I'd feel awful giving her things away so will make a donation instead!

Ela,

I wouldn't wory about sending to people who are already on here ....just knock 'em out to everyone!  It is for a good cause after all.

I found if you send themfrom hotmil you can put 50 address in the To: box and then another 50 in the cc box.

Hope this helps.

Another thought ... are we advertising the auction on thehovel in case there are any peep onthat site that might not have been CC member and would liek to help Ron out (I know they all know Ron over there)

Hi ya folks ... can I help in any way with notifying everyone about the aution?

I don't want to patronise anyone but do youknow how to extract the email addresses easily from the list?  If not I I have them all extracted already so I can forward that to soneone if needed.

Ok Ela I understand .

Sam sent the list to everyone who asked for it but on the last issue of the list there were addressees and copy adressees and I dont know if the latter were the people on the list.

If they were everyone knows about this site cos the link was there but if not someone needs to email everyone on Sams list. I am kinda busy at the moment so if you have the time, Tan and I would be very grateful. If you are too busy I will try and do it over the weekend.

I could easily extract and send e-mail to one the the rest cc, (as long as not too many are sent at a time). I once sent mail to every CP Branch who has e-mail and AOL cut me of as I had sent an unusual no of e-mails at once. I had then to convince them I was not a perv.

I am not quite sure I understand the last bit of your comment, I am being a bit think and I have a headache and that is my excuse. Or are you saying no need to send them to those who Sam sent list too if so does it matter if they are already on here? Oh! I am confusing muself even more now.

Hi Gill

Re: Amanda, I have already e-mailed her myself so please don't worry.? I can send you her e-mail address if you would like me to but we e-mail each other quite often, re the cats etc.? Amanda and 'Nell' were the reason I became involved with C.C. in the first place.....

Lots of love

No Ela and its hard to do cos all the emails need extracting and I needed to double check that Sam list of receivers of the list did not include them

thats is wonderful and very generous Roz, i have a list of peeps on sams list but i need to extract all the email addys out and send em all an email.

iI emailed someone that i thought was amanda at the vets with the cat and was wrong person and i dont recognize peeps here cos names often have changed :(

Ela I am sure we would love to have your money and anyone else who wants to donate is also but would prefer not to have a condition attached.

However we need peeps to take part in the auction and Rozs auction item is not only stunning but worth a lot of money and I think we also have another high priced thing on offer but am waiting confirmation from the person concerned.

We need all those absconders from the other sites.? The more peeps bidding the better.? How can we get them to come over to us....even if it's only for the auction?

Ron needs all the money we can raise.

By the way, I WILL be offering a cat-proofing kit? ;D

Tan even normal users can change their own posts if they want to, it puts up a little thing saying who it was edited by and what time at the bottom.

I added this bit later!

Ha ha yeah dare no management ere!! ?;D

Nope noone knows except for a few surprize auction items that we are gonna have up for auction by very generous peeps.
I been collecting all year for it so got loads to out up. Most are brand new toys my lads just won't play with. Fussy and to bloomin spolit!!

I love the witty way the auctioneers advertised their items last year and the bids against each other.
It was a laugh. Had to change me knickers every time!! ?;D
