Just an update to say the two are still OK, (touch wood). I saw hem yesterday. They are growing and making a lot of noise. There eyes are still closed.

I'm just wondering at what time the ears make a growth spurt as they are tiny at the moment and yet at 5 weeks old (god willing) they will be too big for them :evillaugh:#

They are getting a bit grubby though, what have peeps used for cleaning babies? Jills becoming neurotic and has so far only wiped them down with water and cotton wool but the little one is being slept on and getting covered in pee.

Sending these two little troopers a huge cuddle.

I can't think of anything to say about the circumstances they came to you, Angie. People render me utterly astounded sometimes.

 >:(

How can these people live with themselves?
You wonder if they will even learn their lesson and get the poor mum cat spayed  >:( No excuse either way.

Hope these babies thrive and grow big and strong  :Luv:

Thank goodness the lady found them in time

I can't understand why someone couldn't have at least left them at a vets or rescue  :(
Hope they're doing well today.

Poor babies  :(  I just can't get my head round how some people can be so cruel and heartless.  At least they are safe now, got everything crossed that they go from strength to strength.

Is it because they were 2 little black kittens? Did the mum only have 2 kittens?
Why abandon them like this? Is the mum still alive?
 :censored:

Chances are mum is still okay but she'll be out looking for her kittens bless her, and then the  :censored:  still won't get her spayed and will probably do the same again to the next lot  :censored:  :censored:  :censored:  I really do hate the human race at times, some of them are the scum of the earth and I really hope Karma catches up with them  >:(  >:(

These kittens are lucky as they've been found in time, what about all the others that aren't  :'(  :'(  :'(

Oh poor little mites, its so cold out there .

The  :censored: might still have the mum cat and just wanted to get rid of the babies. People are so cruel some times. :(

There were 4 kittens found in a black rubbish bag last month by a member of public , they heard meowing from the bag left in the street, it was on 6 oclock news cos they took them to Mayhew home and they said RSPCA making inquaries in the area!

Been busy.

Phone call at 9pm from vets now.
"RSPCA inspector has just bought in two 5-6 day old kittens. They seeem healthy and just need to be fed. We're very busy and don't have the time - can you help"

9-30 Inspector brings them round to me .

A lady was walking her dog and heard some mewing. There was a plastic bag tied to a tree and these were inside it. :censored:

I have fed them but now taken them to Jill as she has handreared before and hopefully will have more of a chance with these to - though of course Jill being Jill, don't suppose I will ever get them back off her - still lets get the next month out of the way first!

I hope someone has trouble sleeping tonight after doing such a thing and I can't help feeling so sad for the mum cat.
