It seems however big the mat, she will drag it onto the carpet  - I was using a towel as it is bigger than any vinyl mat.

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Ah, Alice was the shy one... poor thing.  Perhaps one those plastic table mats underneath the bowl (maybe 2 if she is a messy eater) can help reducing the mess sticking to the carpet.

Alice is in the attic room. I used to feed her in the ensuite but she doesn't like eating in the same room as her litter tray  :evillaugh:

But Mark why don't you feed your babies on a hard surfaced floor, instead of carpet... so much easier to clean after it :innocent:

Be my guest Ruth - she's all yours - I will miss her but life would be easier  :evillaugh:

so has she never met the others??

She has but she hisses & growls at them  :(

As she isn't able to defend herself, I can't risk leaving them. Alice is a wobbly old lady  :)

I had the carpet shampooer (A big noisy karcher one) out today and thought I would clean the carpet where Alice eats - there is a towel down but we know how cats like to drag food  :tired:
Also she had been sick on the attic stair carpet. I had been putting if off as I knew it would upset her but took the bull by the horns today. I was cleaning the catfood part and she hid under the bed. Then I dragged it onto the stairs thinking she was still under the bed but she was cowering at the bottom of the stairs. She ran past me and hid behind the armchair in  the room and I finished up. I got her some fresh food but she was still scared and wouldn't come out. I thought I would leave her be to calm down a bit but when I got to the bottom of the attic stairs, I opened the door and Kylie bolted past me. I ran up to try to grab her but she was sniffing around for Alice up there. Alice was cowering behind the chair  :( - I eventually nabbed Kylie and got her out. Poor Alice - I have left her to calm down a bit and then will go for a cuddle  :Luv2:
