I live with a few stripers ( yeah I wish lol ) My cats are pulling paper off all over the house, my bedroom, my son's room, stairs and hall  :tired:

What I have noticed is that they are going for the textured paper and leave the flatter paper alone. I dont know if they are having a scratch while having a mad moment or doing it to be naughty  >:(

the codster gets shut in kitchen all night but he does the scratching when hes on the rampage during the day when he's not shut in anywhere, ie he'll be having a mad dash round then finish with a quick attack of door post getting the paper at the side at same time  :tired:

Has he got a scratch post and if he has does he use it?

He maybe trying to get you to open the flap for him

Sasa will scratch on study door to tell me to come and play with her!
Yes hes got a scratching post which is in the living room ( so when hes locked in the kitchen at night he cant use it - maybe i should put it in the kitchen at night for him ?)..

Hello everyone, need some advice, !  had thomas 4 months now and hes settled in very well... hes been very good up until now !!
he sleeps in the kitchen at night on top of the cupboards on a blanket and he can come in and out of his catflap as he pleases.. however just the past 3 nights hes stared scratching at the wallpaper that is where he sleep.. hes also doing it just on the inside of the door where his catflap is and that he uses !  Any ideas why hes started doing this and how to stop it ?   We have just recently trimmed his nails so its not because of that !
Advice please  :-:
