Maybe it might be worth getting someone else to try - it may well be that she has now decided to charge and knows she had given you a few different responses.

I just had a wee look and the listing from Wednesday is still there with the charge you spoke of - what a lovely cat, can't understand why someone would be getting rid of her just because they are moving! >:(

Iv phoned several times & didnt get any one now managed to speak to whoever & now the cat is gone again...very odd ...one minute the cat is still there & next gone.

So no nearer to knowing wither this perosn still has the cat or has the cat really gone

Ratie I am not  suggesting you were rude to her, simply that she may have taken against you. People do. And for the oddest reasons. Your accent, the questions you ask, whatever - happens to me all the time - I suddenly discover I have offended someone without the slightest intention to do so ... She sounds a dodgy sort, and she lied to you when you called back, so maybe if she receives a call from someone else, she will not realise it is coming from the same source - that's all I intended to suggest ...please, if I offended it was not intentional ...

how about PMing her number to someone else on the site - maybe she is just one of these people who doesn't want to tell you she doesn't like your attitude .... If she is feeling defensive or self-righteous she may respond better to an enquiry from a stranger ...

OMG YOU FOLK?  :-:

I sent another email asking for her landline number as shes only put a mobile  on?  The cat is in cambuslang glasgow 13 miles from me BUT the only problem here is i dont have tranport & IF i could wangle something it would be ONLY at the weekend & this is iffy?   Hellish when you havnt got ya own transport.

As the FIRST ad atates FREE  then Id play on that first but if push comes to shove Im willing to pay whats shes asking which is not much ...dont want to say on here but its more or lless what a rescue would ask if you were rehoming there....Im willing to take her & get her nureted here.

Will PM dawn the now & with the email i got back & the link ......hope this bit of junk dosnt die on me again as Im fed up with the problems here....bear with me  dawn?

once, a long time ago when I found it impossible to keep a cat, I advertised here without specifying if she was free or would cost something. my first contact was from a horrible person who just called to ask my address because they were coming to collect her (no discussion, nothing). I told them she was top breeders price and they went away - may be she would still be free if they were convinced she was going to a really good home?

Got an email reply back ...the ad is now changed from being free to good home to having a price now.. :-:  The person says the cat is not nurtered & at 7 to old to have kittens ....erh?

Hmmm, thats a worry, cos some unscrupulous buyer could buy hoping to use for breeding.
