Thanks for all the replies. I think I will just stick to giving it to them every few days, especially is Edgar is quite under weight. They don't seem too fussy on brand to be honest - both Tesco's own and Morrison's got polished of!

I supplemented my babes with Lactol as they came to me very very young and I was worried that they were not entirely weaned. They did very well on it and I am sure good food and Lactol has helped them to a very healthy weight. They do still get it now on a weekly basis as they are 6 months old and on an adult diet early, this is because my OH has a 5 year old cat and it was getting very difficult to manage two diets. So I supplement the extra protein for my growing babies.

Mine has it as an occasional treat too, when I open the bottle I give him a little bit over a few days, its never upset his tummy.

I give mine cat milk a couple of times a week.  They do love it, but I don't think it should be a daily thing

Is this Cimicat ?

I stopped giving mine regular cat milk as it still gives them the runs.

Max has cat milk as an occasional treat.  It is a food as opposed to a drink, so can contribute to putting weight on, and with my boy having been a bit porky last year, I'm mega careful about what he has now.  He does love it though, and goes mental when he does get some  :wow:

I give mine milk and always have done - they tend not to drink much of it anyway

Personally I dont see the point in it and have never bought it for any of mine.  It would be ok for a treat i guess but i'd certainly not be giving it daily.

I use it on cats that need building up, but you would then have to watch them when they get to a good weight, as they might have got addicted to it then.

Hello all - just wondering if anyone suppliments their cat food with cat milk. My last fur babe hated the stuff but tried Edgar and Oscar on it for a treat and they love it!! I know the tub says give 50ml a day but I was going to give it more as a treat a couple of times a week.

Does anyone give it daily? They are on Royal Canin just now although I think they don't like it as much as wet food so will see how that goes. Edgar is a bit underweight so wondered if the milk would help with this as resisting turnign to wet food just now as the Royal Canin is getting eaten but just not right away (I have only had them a week).

So any views on cat milk? Don't want to be giving them something that is not good for them.  :shy:
