Shah is now 100% and has had his first vaccination, next one in 3 wks time.

He is playing loads and especially loves playing with the ping pong ball in bath - so new home must have a bath not a shower  :evillaugh:

He discovered the cat tree today and the windowsill - I wondered how long it would take as he was checking Fabes out on it the other night.

His fave place is still my bed though  :Luv:

Nooo chance Gillian - he definitely needs someone who can lavish him with all their time and affection  :innocent:

He is feeling much better today.  I came home from work and no gunky eye and he even came downstairs to say hello as I walked through the door  :Luv2:

Sol walked next to him before and swished his tail in his face - Shah just ducked  :evillaugh:

He is following me around like a little puppy and the person who adopts him will be VERY lucky  :Luv2:

Ummm, could that person be you per chance?  :innocent:

He looks like he's got his feet under the table already to me LOL!

He's been to the vets and was really good purring the whole time she examined him  :Luv:

She thinks the sniffles are through stress, he doesn't have a temperature and everything else is fine.  His eye is a bit gunky too today, so he is on antibiotics and eye ointment.

She was really surprised when I said he was 13 - she thought he was a lot younger  ;)

Shah is such a lovely snuggly boy  :Luv:

He has found a Shah size spot on my bed and has been 'out' with all my three since Wednesday night and so far so good  :innocent:

He has been a bit sniffly since yesterday so I'm going to take him to the vets tomorrow to make sure he hasn't got a temperature - wish him well everyone he has been through so much over the last few weeks  :scared:

Here are some piccies I took of him yesterday  :Luv:

BTW - I went to Wigan cat show yesterday and had a chat with a woman I know and we think he may be a Pewter Persian  :Luv:

Meant to tell you CS, earlier I heard lots of growling coming from the carrier I took Becky to the vets in, I'd put the little pink mousey thing in with her and Dyson had found it  :evillaugh:

I'm so pleased he's making himself at home, he wasn't doing so bad last night in that department  :evillaugh:  Within 5 minutes of letting him out of the carrier, he'd found a catnip bow and was rolling round on the floor with it, he is such an adoreable cat and he would be a pleasure to have around  :Luv:  :Luv:  :Luv:  He's very verbal which Candice has found out, and speaking to Candice earlier, he'd been carrying a little ball round in his mouth  :Luv:  :Luv:  :Luv:  I'm pretty sure, he will think he's died and gone to heaven landing his paws at your place, thanks for taking him on board and I hope you get some sleep tonight

Shah has arrived and has made himself at home  :sneaky:

Introductions with my three are going well - he's just growled and hissed a little bit but there's been lots of nose sniffing too - so far so good  :innocent:

I kept him in the spare room last night and today when I was at work so he could settle in.  He wasn't impressed and woke me up at 3am crying and scratching the door and the carpet to get out.  I went in to give him a fuss and got licked to death  :evillaugh:

I'm going to try him out of the room tonight and see how we get on.

He is following me around like a little puppy and the person who adopts him will be VERY lucky  :Luv2:

Oh , he looks gorgeous.
When i got Winston he had to be completely shaved , all he had were little boots , bottom half of his tail and his head fur left on . As it was November i managed to get him a Yorkshire terrier dog coat with fleece inside and he wore that for ages !!

He's gorgeous Dawn! I nearly ended up with a persian last week, but between me and a few other girls off of another forum we have found him a lovely new home to go to next week.  I'll just have to make do with my Teddie lol (exotic shorthair)

I am embarrassed to say that could not stop laughing when I saw him  :naughty:  He looked so funny bless him with his wrinkly belly  :Luv2:  :Luv2:  I had to buy him a t shirt from Woolies and I put it on him in the vets, a lady said to her son, "Awww look at that doggy"    I informed her it was a cat and she said she thought it was a scottie dog   :evillaugh:

Just brought him home and I casually asked my son to carry him in and put him in his cage, he went to pick him up and burst out laughing as he had no idea of the weight of him   He is huge and weighed more than a little dog that was weighed in the vets tonight, much to the amusement of the vet nurses  :evillaugh:  I'll take some piccies later as I've just literally got back in but have got to pop out again  :tired:
Really pleased he's ok and can't wait to see him  :Luv: :Luv:

You'll be carrying him out of the car, he's done my arm in already  ;)

Shah is fine  :Luv:  It took an hour and a half to dematt him as he was matted between the toes, all his backend was a disgusting mess and Heidi said he is the worst one she's ever done.  His bloods all came back fine, his teeth have had some tartar removed and his ears are now gunk free, and he's a good solid lump weighing in at 7.5kg  :Luv:  I'm going to pick him up shortly  :)

Bet he feels better already!  ;D

I cant understand people who dont want their cats anymore, how on earth can someone abandone a cat as beautiful as that, well any cat to be honest.

The lady did say she couldn't afford to feed him anymore, but I think it was a case of not wanting to pay the vet bill  >:(

He is gorgeous isn't he, I think I may apply for custody  :evillaugh:  :evillaugh:  He has had me in tears though, I just feel gutted for him to have a fab, pampered life for 12 years and then he ends up in the state he is in  :'(  :'(  :'(  Tomorrow will be a fresh start for him, he'll be fur free, loved and treated like a prince and I've told him all about FooFoo, Fabes, Sol and his Aunty Candice  :Luv:  :Luv:
