Well, I have spoken to his new owners today, he is settling in really well, and seems more content now (he hated being confined, yet also hated other cats) - he likes to be on high things, so they are looking at nice big cat trees for him, to save their ornaments. He is the most ungraceful cat they have come across though, he misjudges jumps and falls a lot - i had noticed he was good at knocking things over here!! He did wake his mum up by nibbling her ear the other day, she wasn't very impressed!! She thinks he might be younger cos of how playful he is, yet the vets thought he might be older cos it took him a bit longer to come round from the op!! She is sending me some pics of him, so will post them when she does.

I am very pleased, he is a master at escaping, and goes for Zia - yet isn't that bad with Rolo and George.

WEll, this little one is goign to his new home on Sat - despite him showing his over-stimulation issues (he sinks teeth and claws in!!), they are happy to take him, and have stocked up on everything he will need. All he needs now is his stitches out tomorrow and I will clip his claws before he goes (the first cat I dont do, and it is one that scratches, my hand is a bit of a mess at the moment!!).

Couple more pics of him. He is ultra friendly, although does still get a bit overexcited with his teeth. If the couple like him on Tues, he is going to a child and pet free home, which will be ideal for him. Hopefully you can see on these why I am not sure he should be classed as a semi-longhair - he does have toe tufts, yet his legs are quite sleek.

Just had a phone call from someone about Frankie, she is coming to look at him on Tues. He has his stitches out on Fri, so cant go before then. he is a lot more friendly and affectionate now, he is all over you, and loves to play.

I Went to see the cat at work after I posted this, I got a little stroke off him, although he kept on hiding for ages (treats work wonders!!) - he will certainly do anything for some food, but is very well fed at work, he gets things that some pet cats dont!! he has people bringing leftover meat and fish as well as his two trays of cat food!!

Well, I was right with him, I got them to check before I left the vets, as something wasn't right, and he only had one descended testicle!! Fortunately, it was easy to find, so wasn't that bad (he does have 4 stitches though), and is like a different cat now, he hasn't spat since we came home, and is much more loving - poor thing has had a bad couple of days though. he has eaten lots since coming back, which is good, as he didn't eat before I had to starve him last night. When I picked him up, I said to the vet that he needs a new name, I wouldnt let them have Ziggy, as I have already had one of those, and it is a ginger and white cat name to me, so the compromise was Frankie.  Pics.
Kelly - have sent you a pm, you might not have a space for long!!

George was entire but didnt have that mature tom aroma so if he feels full he probably is  :evillaugh:

Yes Swiggy definately needs a name change!

Your right MM, I dont have many of those things!! I restrict myself to two cats, as I have a knack for finding cats with health issues - spent around £1k a year at the vets for the past two years - and that was only owning 2 (and the bulk of it was on one cat each year), I would hate to go up to 3 and struggle if too many of them got ill.
I got one of the unneutered males, the house cat - poor thing is called Swiggy, he needs a name change. He is a fluffy black male - am reluctant to call him semi-long haired, as in places he doenst look it. He has the big head, and feels like he is unneutered, yet his wee doesn't smell, so am a bit confused.
I spoke to the bloke at work who is feeding the cat, he turns up around 3 times a day, and there are 2 of them who keep an eye on him and feed him (he had chicken yesterday morning, and he showed me the cat food he bought him), so I just need to speak to the security guard to make sure he is happy to feed him when we are not there, and he can happily go back once I can catch him and get him neutered.

Thanks for the good wishes - one is easy, one might not be so easy, and might end up having to wait a couple of days (have to tie it in with the vets, in case he doesn't appreciate home life). Hopefully not, as I am supposed to be adopting Zia, and can only afford 2 permanent cats. So, need to be able to home a 15yo tabby.

And sadly work as well as cats!! I am trying to catch this cat at work in my lunch break to get him neutered, and have just been asked to help with a 2yo unneutered male - he was left behind when his owners emigrated, as someone was supposed to be taking him in, but sadly they no longer can, and the person who is feeding him is moving this week and can no longer keep him, so I have to pick him up after work tomorrow, to get him neutered on Tues. He is going to stay here, either for a month until his hormones die down (dont want him going mad due to the nursing female, or sending her into heat), or unless he finds a home sooner (I have agreed to take this 15yo in at the end of next month, it works out quite well date wise). He is pure black and has always been a house cat, so hopefully he wont mind being in my bathroom (cat from work will have to go in the cage, which will upset Rolo, unless I leave the fosters loose in the house while he recovers and can be released, which might stop Rolo going out!!). I am hoping I can home him in this month, he will be put on the page pretty much straight away due to being an owner relinquish.
