Have you let the rescue know? Lucky you acted quickly or there would have soon been mini bubz running around  :scared:

She's stayed in my room all morning and is snoozing right now. I've had a snooze too. LOL

Bubz isnt showing any interest in food but has managed to move around my room under her own steam.

So glad you got a good nights sleep, Helen. You must have felt so much better for it and also to know that there was a reason for Bubz noise.
Hope she is finding the cone a bit easier. My girl was fine until she tried to go through doorways. She kept hitting the frame and it would take her several frustrating attempts!

Unfortunately she was nibbling her stitches so we put the cone back on her. :( I dont think she'd been spayed at all.......... I got my first unbroken night in 5 weeks ! ;D I'm so much more refreshed than I have been since her first bout of calling! She has never mewed in distress - 'cept for the bedroom door to be opened in the morning -  so I couldnt believe it when I woke up at 7.15!

Last night she had me and my PA in stitches of giggles at her backwards gait. Mind you she got herself tangled up in my quilt this a.m and just sat quietly till she was rescued. Poor little Bubz. Currently she's on my desk watching me type and listening to the combo of my PA in the kitchen and the radio.

So was she not spayed at all or had an odd bit flaoting about?

If she isnt hassling her stitches just keep an eye on her and hopefully not need the cone

Glad she is home again, those cones are a pain aren't they?  We once had a dog that had one and the cats used to hide behind it and put their paws round and slap him.  Then he stripped wallpaper with it, got it stuck up my skirt, beheaded a row of flowers and eventually refused to set foot outside whilst wearing it.  He did more damage rubbing his wound with the edge of the blasted thing than he ever would have licking it.  So despite protestations from the vet (who was, at the time, my daughter's boyfriend) off it came and he never looked back.

Hope Bubz gets used to her cone quickly  :Luv:  She'll be running around like a loon again before you know it, but hopefully a slightly quieter loon  :)

She's  already proved that she's a Houdini-cat...... out of her cone & collar!

But its good to have her back. ;D

She got home about 30mins ago after being spayed. Currently she's trying to make sense of the plastic cone around her neck and has her head resting on the sofa arm while gazing upwards!

So many thanks to all of you for your support.

Helen - looking forward to a little less noise at night! ;D
