Home(s) needed urgently THANET, Kent (Uknown Outcome)

FURTHER UPDATE (Sorry this is getting too complex for me!): Jake is SORTED!  It's a bit of a saga but he is sorted, and does not now need a new home.

However his former housemate, Boozy is still seeking a new home!  He is safe where he is, but it's not ideal as there are two youngsters and a dog - the intentions were good, but he is not happy there, although he is safe there temporarily, until we can find a more suitable home.  We do have a couple of 'possible' homes at this point in time we'd still like to hear from anyone who might seriously consider him:

Boozy is a black, shorthaired chap, neutered and healthy, up to date with vaccs. He is around 13 years old, very affectionate, loves a good warm lap, and is quite vocal! He has a loud miaow and will tell you when he wants something. He loves a fuss, the more the better, and would make a lovely companion for someone who is at home for much of the day. He is used to living with older owners, so would be better in a similar environmemt, and best as an only cat.

N.B. Jake is already becoming more relaxed since he and Boozy have been apart, so both are benefitting from being only cats!

UPDATE TO BELOW - BOOZY IS NOW HOMED - JAKE STILL NEEDS A HOME!!

Due to the unexpected death of their owner, two cats are needing to find a home in or near Thanet, Kent.
The cats are not close friends, so they will be happy to go to separate homes.
We at Cat Chat are trying to organise this as a 'direct homing' and the homecheck will be carried out by a Cat Chat volunteer.

Here are the details:
(1) Boozy is a black, shorthaired, neutered chap, very friendly. He is getting on in years (about 13), but is in good health. He likes lots of fuss, a warm lap, and is very talkative! He would make a lovely companion for someone who is retired, or who is at home for a lot of the day.

(2) Jake   (SEE PHOTO)  is a beautiful long-haired grey and white boy, neutered and healthy. He is nervous at first with new people, so will need someone who is patient with him, and who will allow him time and space in which to win his confidence. He likes to go outside, so somewhere with a garden is preferred.  A quiet home with no young children or dogs would be ideal.
