Rastus is a 12 yo cat who we rescue from a 36 hour countdown to being PTS by a vets. The vet really didn't want to and phoned to see if we could help. We put out a call to all of our members and a lovely home in York came up. Off Rastus went to live with other cats in a lovely rural location.
Unfortunately, Rastus has not settled with the other cats and has been spraying like mad! As most of us know, this is usually brought on by stress and in himself he is a loveble, affectionate cat who just wants all the attention on him! He needs a new home quickly as his dominant behaviour is very distressing for the owner, Rastus and the other cats. He needs to be the only cat and would need to have access to a garden as he is used to pottering about outside.
Many fans of older cats will know that they are just as affectionate and loving as any kitten and all Rastus wants is a forever home to call his own. We don't have space to bring him back to Leeds and so am trying to re-home him from his current situation. We would re-home to anywhere in Leeds, York, or the surrounding areas in West Yorkshire.
