Poor Kiki - he will be fine with only three legs though, they bounce back really quickly. He obviously didn't like that leg, so dont feel too bad on yourself.
Please spay your cat

Hi Kelliem
Sorry to hear that you have been through such a rough time with Kiki who I am sure will get over the loss of the leg quicker than you.
Dont be so hard on yourself, you are not to blame for either accident and it sounds to me that amputation was the best thing for him.
Just remember that he can no longer scratch his ear on the side where he lost his leg so give him a good old tickle there,he`ll love it .
Got to agree with Mark he will be racing around in no time.

Sorry to hear about poor Kiki - I hope he's feeling better. I'm sure Teresa at Paws would tell you he will be racing around in no time.

It's really quiet on here - I was surprised there were no other replies.

Anyway, hugs and get well soon to Kiki  :catluv:

Hey everyone. I swear my poor kiki has a death wish/. For those of u who dont know his story ill fill you in. In september he got hit by a car breaking his leg fracturing his pelvis and spine. he made a full recovery and had his pin removed 2 weeks ago.
Anyway, boxing day what does he do? HJe jumps out a window breaks his leg again in exactlly the same place. Vet gave me 3 options, send to a specialise, which would cost about 3 grand which insurance wont cover, put him down or amputate his leg. So now my poor sweetheart only has 3 legs. He seems to be doing ok not wobbling no mistakes, but i feel so sorry for him. And cant stop blaming myself!
Heres a few pics.
On a lighter note i hope everyone had a wonderful xmas.
