Names - how about Isis and Dia? Dia means Goddess and Isis is one of the most powerful Eygptian Goddesses.

I need names for these babes  ;)  I love the younger tortie's markings, she is stunning, I've not tried giving her a fuss yet but may see what she's like tomorrow  :scared:

At last piccies, they are a lot more settled today, the little one meowed at me when I came in from work to let me know her dish needed topping up  ;)

Both are doing fine Pav but I've kept them separate for now as Mum is still very growly with her.  I've put them in cages side by side and hopefully she'll be better with her in a few days and they can go back in together.  I've still not managed to take any piccies but will try when I get in from work tomorrow

I will have to split these two up before I go up, mum is getting very growly with the little one and I don't think it's a good idea leaving them in together.  I was going to leave them in the hospital cage overnight but I'll get the youngster in another one and put them side by side and then cover them over.  Hopefully once she calms down, she'll be back to being the good mum that she is  :Luv2:

I'll try    When they came out yesterday with cameras to check the drainage system, it turns out the drain at the front of the house has collapsed, as well as the bulge in the wall, but they told us today it all had to be clear before they would start the work  >:(  >:(  It's been a nightmare but hopefully by early next week, they will just be working on the roadside which shouldn't affect us too much.

I'll take some tomorrow Pav, I'm just catching up before I shower and bed, I've been out digging most of the day and I'm knackered, just finished for the night but still got cat dishes to top up  :tired:  We've got the guys coming in the morning about the front wall and we had a load of stuff to move.  With hubby not being well, I've had to rope the kids into helping but wheelbarrowing soil up 20 odd steps has worn us out  :tired:  Both cats are still a bit growly but I'm sure they'll settle a bit by tomorrow

I already had cats booked in for this week, didn't have anyone specific in mind and thought seeing as I'd got these in traps, it was better to get them straight in rather than let them settle and stress them again.

These two little ladies are now back home, they are both fine and have been spayed, wormed and also vaccinated.  Not sure how I'm going to get hold of the feral one for her 2nd jab as she was a little minx in the vets  :scared:

Where they came from, they were really well looked after  :Luv:  The problem with where they were is the Persian cat that resides there.  He is getting old now and really didn't appreciate the mum cat sitting on his step, and warning him off  :evillaugh:  She had also started breaking into the cat flap, and every time the door was opened, she was trying to get in.  This was why I so wanted to get her and her daughter, it breaks your heart when you hear of a little one trying to get into someone's house and sadly through circumstances, they can't go in  :'(  At least now, they will have a warm cosy bed and they'll be indoors and away from bully tom cats, and hopefully in the near future, they will find a loving home together  :Luv:

It's took me  :censored: months to get them  :evillaugh:  Mum has always been a doddle to get, baby was a different matter but thankfully, it's over with now apart from getting the 2 toms  ;)

But surely if she is young, she can be rehomed. I really hope you get the mum and she is not pregnant again with Tom's around.

Ohhh we have to think of new names. :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

At the moment, she is frightened but she must be nearing 6 months so whether she can be tamed enough, I won't know for a few days.  What I will try and do is get her somewhere with mum, they are inseparable and it will be nice for her.  If mum is pregnant again, she won't be too far gone so as soon as I get her, she'll be in and done.  Clare is going to try and get her first thing, if she does, she'll be in the vets as well  ;)

I'm really chuffed I've got her, I was a little concerned with the 2 toms being around, they are both fairly large cats and this little one wouldn't stand a chance with them.  I nearly managed to get mum but she bolted so I'll get her tomorrow.  One of the tom's is quite cheeky and will come quite close so I think he has had an owner........I can't wait to get him, he looks so cuddly  :Luv2:  :Luv2:

The little madam gave Clare a going away pressie by biting her hard on her finger   I think she is a typical naughty tortie which I'm sure the vets are going to be pleased about in the morning  :evillaugh:

Funny enough, I was thinking along the same lines.  If they are unneutered and have been making a nuisance of themselves, I reckon some  :censored: neighbour has decided to get rid of them himself  :censored:

sounds like they could be dumpers Dawn?????   always a possibility.  We get a lot of that in our area where folks think farms are ideal places to 'get rid'   grrr

I've just got back from there now and there are 2 toms that are sniffing round and causing bedlam  :sneaky:  One of them is huge and is a semi longhaired black/white.........beautiful looking cat  :Luv2:  :Luv2:  The other is also a black/white, he was prancing up and down the garden like a fairy and looked extremely playful, but Clare said he does this before he pounces on the female  :tired:  To me, he appeared to be trying to coax her into playing with him but sadly because of these 2 boys, the feral kitten is pretty scared and spends her whole time sneaking around   :(  I'm hoping to get both toms, get them in the vets in the morning and suss out if they are tame or not, if they are, they can be rehomed  ;)  It does make me wonder where they are all coming from, there is a farm across the way and my friend has had most of the cats done there but these two do not live there, and yet both have appeared the last few weeks both on the farm and at the two houses  :shify:

it does sometimes feel like an endless circle doesn't it?

One thing I do say to people if they are getting in the way is to go inside and let you get on with your job.   Sometimes you have to be a little short to get  the nosey pestering so and so's to let you get on and get the cat quicker and safer!!

let us know how you get on tho.

It's been a  :censored: nightmare with them  :tired:  The trouble with the toms that keep taking over the garden, they are scaring off the "resident ferals" but the only thing I can do with the one that's arrived now, is get him done and put him back  :(
