His face IS alot whiter with age than it would have been in his youth, greys tend to grey very early compared to ie labs etc.  He's lovely puddy, i can see the close resemblense to my logan, a similar shaped body although not as skinny as our brainless mutt.

I'll see if i can find a before & after of our tom, we've had him since he was 2 and he's 10 this year and defo getting grey  :)

We got him from Battersea at Brands Hatch, where he had been sent from London.  He is an ex-racer and when he finished racing, he was living in a flat but his owners decided that it wasn't suitable, so gave him to Battersea.  They seem to have cared for him and he was house-trained when we got him and he's very laid back.  I think he was one of the lucky ones - we've heard some truly awful stories from some of the rescuers.

Ohhhh he reminds me so much of a greyhound I used to meet often on the way to the gym, he was appearantly an adopted retired racer and the sweetest thing, when I petted him he would press his slender little head into my palm and looked up at me with that liquid huge brown eyes that would melt anything... :Luv:
I see the incredible gentleness is the characteristic of greys :)

Little madam thought she was until first thing this morning, when she kept annoying Ollie by jumping on him.  He turned round and gave her a cuff round the ear - I think she got the message as she has been very sweet with him since

He is just over 10 Sam.  Most of the grey is his colouring but there are few more than there were - like me    He is so gentle.  This morning Sophie was chasing round with her catnip mouse and kept runnung across him.  All he did was sigh very heavily  :Luv:

He is so sweet - I have no idea why Greyhounds have such a bad rep - they are the gentlest and most loving dogs of all :Luv:

Ahhh bless him ...he looks like a real sweetie.  How old is he?  He looks like he's got a few grey hairs (or is that just his colouring?)
