Am back with a drontal tablet each!

They told us to watch out for diarrohea, anything else i should look out for?

Jackie: Well i thought it was at first, you know maybe from Xmas wrapping or something, but when my OH carried out an extreme examination it was definately a worm, it was horrible i know that much! And i nearly stood on it, in the dark on the bedroom floor, in bare feet at 7am!

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick one to try and put my mind at rest before the vets opens!

Nina has been retching in the last few nights and been sick (just sort of mashed up biscuits) a couple of times. We were just putting it down to guzzling biscuits too fast and too much bouncing around with the new panic mouse. Also she does suffer with hairballs so we just gave her a few more defurum treats.

But... Got up this morning to a little pool of clear liquid with what looked like a thin elastic band, about 3-4cm long, OH informed me that it was a worm. eeeek.

Nina and Kiki are both indoor are were both last wormed in September (Nina with Milbemax and Kiki with whatever the rescue centre had given her), both fine in themselves, eating fine, no problems in the litterbox or anything.

The answerphone at the vets doesn't say anything about opening times and i'm a little concerned that it is shut until the new year.

What else can i do? Is there any shop bought stuff that will do until i can get the vets?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as being a novice owner this all new (and a bit scary!)  :-[

Thanks everyone

ems
xxxxx
