I just love the shine on that coat, it's just that touch of silver tipping on the hairs which gives it that look - Pearl has a little of that too and when the coat is groomed, it doesn't half look spectacular.  He looks in super condition Grit, he's a real credit to you.

What a stunner he is Grit , can I have him Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez lol, If I could afford a pedigree then it would be a Russian Blue for me, ive always loved them, I had the chance to take one from a breeder who was a client when I worked in a vets years ago but my flatmate at the time point blank refused, and as it was she who owned the flat there was nowt much i could do, I was devastated and never forgave her the    lol

Stunning ... what a gorgeous boy and what a lovely name!  We used to have a Russian Blue who lived 2 doors down from us until they moved .... he was a very solid cat called Boris!!

I know, no one ever believes us! He had to stay in the vets for a long time and I nearly lost him as they didn't want to give him back, 4 nurses there said they would take him if my allergy got too unbearable and now every time I go they ask me!

His favourite trick is to swipe food from your plate - he has been known to take a whole chicken breast off OH's plate whilst he was trying to eat it and run upstairs with it!

His coat is a very plush grey-blue and is a kind of double coat as he is an arctic pussycat.  I can also testify to it being water proof as evidenced by my frequent attempts to petal cleanse him!

Here is a pic of Zhukov the most expensive cat in the world - well £500 of vets bills anyway - oh and special carpet cleaning to get rid of the stains from the two bottles of red wine he tipped over and the new plate and cup to replace the ones he smashed and the new lap top to replace the one he knocked a glass of sherry over! -- need I go on!

But who could resist that face!!!!
