The main complaint I would have about that vid is that the cat is very overweight. Maybe the music is inappropriate for a site visited by children.

Remember we're only getting one side of the story here - I'm betting there's more to it than this person is letting on. The site mentiond in his blog is a forum I use and I can't imagine them banning him for that. The site is considered a PG site and used for educational purposes so they ask everyone to bear in mind that children are likely to be reading and watching, but even if they considered the video inapproppriate, they wouldn't ban him from posting on there (as he implies) - just ask him to remove the video or edit it so that it doesn't include the bum closeups! He probably got the hump and became abusive.

Does anyone remember the visuals which went with the beginning credits for a BBC2 comedy about dating, I can't remember what the prog was called. The music was "Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps" with a cat walking sexily up and down waggling her behind. I can't be the only person to remember this. The prog ran for about 3 series, but they changed the credit sequence.
It was hysterical!

American's can get really strange with their animals at times. Look at what they do to all those poor little doggies - making them dress up in silly costumes, wear nail varnish, dyeing them all kinds of unnatural colours. I suppose there's a backlash growing and they haven't got the thinking behind it sorted out yet.

My Tilly would be the same. She's very proud of cleaness of her botty and delights is showing us. Usually around dinner time!

I wouldn't class this as "americans" with twisted values, we have just as many over sensitive people in this country... in fact in every country I've lived in.

I am surprised they banned that. I do think that the shots of the backside were OTT, one shot would have been enough to be honest for effect, but how many of us get landed with a photo or video of our cats backside when we're trying to get a good shot... its what they do. Overall I found it a little cute, that's a great looking cat and clearly loved.

PS: And to not let this become a forum bashing thread, please do not post links or comments specific to any of the forums in question. Thanks all.

It's fine for them to carry guns and kill each other with them, but something as natural as a cat's bum offends their sensibilities! What twisted values!

I thought it was a nice appreciation of his cat, besides most cats spend a least some part of the day rubbing/waving their butt at you. Why would that be offensive when it's true?!?!
