For those of you who know i've had Garfield since Sunday. He's making good progress he came downstairs on his own today only to stare at us from the bottom step!
Oops! Sorry forgot to change picture angle before I uploaded.
He seems to be settling okay, I've had a few tiny meows out of him (Jet was vocal so I'm still finding his silence strange) and a small amount of catnip induced play. He's so laid back and placid it's unreal. He's stunned the visitors we've had they cannot believe how a cat could be so different to Jet.
He's not hiding as much now and easily comes out from under the bed when we wake up rather than needing encouragement!
I've noticed that his tail is also more friendly and sometimes up for a little while now. He's still rather jumpy if we move suddenly or a new sound but i'm sure he'll get over it.
His appetite has improved as well he ate very little when he arrived, also has a dislike for water but enjoys my lactose free goats milk instead! (he has access to both)
Enjoy!

I cannot deny that a cat lover and his cat have a master/slave relationship. The cat is the master.
