hi,

bit of an update - - - smoky was collected by her deceased owners son last saturday, after a 6 week stay with me. a reallly nice man, and he made a donation to pawprints for helping which was lovely.

and the 'boxing day boys' are going to their new home next friday after i did a successful homecheck last saturday, which is good for them. they are such GORGEOUS boys!

What lovely cats - it's so nice to see them grooming each other that way. And Smokey is such a babe. Glad she's going to someone she knows. :)

hi,

yes it is so sad for smoky's family, and definitely nice that the son is adopting her and not turning his back on her like so many people do when a person dies leaving a pet needing a home.

they have all settled so well, after the inital few hours of being unsure. i wish they all settled so quickly.

i'll definitely be homing the boys together  :)

Aww, how sad for poor SMokey, but at least her owner's son is taking her, you dont often hear of that. And good luck with the boys.

Faye, they're all lovely and what a sad story about smokey's mum - it can happen like that. A friend of mine dropped dead aged 40, standing on a hospital ward between two doctors who knew her well. Nothing they could do! But glad that Smokey's 'brother' will be taking him on once things are sorted. And those other two are just too cute for words. Love the way they are cuddling together. Clearly not too stressed in their new temporary home!

hi,

i thought i would share a couple of photo's - the first is of 10 year old smoky, a lovely girl whose owner died unexpectedly at 49 years old. the police phoned me to ask for somewhere safe for her to go. the previous owners son is going to adopt her. i feel so sad for them all.

the second photo is of my 'boxing day boys' who were found on the carpark of a local walking area, apparently dumped. they are gorgeous, affectionate lads  :Luv:
