Jake's taken a turn for the worse - RIP

I've got a kitten who's approximately 4 months old and has been absolutely fine.  The last week he's had 2 funny turns in that he'll stand up and start staggering around and really can't get his balance and his eyes darting back and too.  When he first did it I was all set for phoning the emergency vets and within a couple of minutes he was absolutely fine as if nothing had happened.  He then did it again a couple of nights ago and the same thing, he was fine but this lasted approximately 2-3 minutes.  He is going to the vets when Sean is there for a check over, as I really can't deal with any other vets at the moment without wanting to rip their heads off  >:(   I'm not sure if he'll find anything unless he is having one of his turns at the time.  Has anyone had any experience of this and if so, did it get worse?
