Whats catnip ??

not all cats react to catnip, it is apparently genetic, so will depend on what how he reacts. All the ones here at the moment love the stuff (they have some special stuff saved!!)

Catnip is great fun    Some cats go dopey whereas others go hyper.  My two boys get very excited when they smell it and a toy that was boring before will be hugged, sucked and kicked to death if it's catnip filled

Betsy.....If your cats have'nt experienced "catnip" yet boy are they in for a treat.....they go all hyper and start being loonies tis very funny to watch 

Thanks ruth - what exactly will he do ???? !!  Its my first cat and hes still settling in so dont want him to go awol !!

Hi Betsy, if your cat likes catnip they will go crazy for it, rolling around and drooling and getting spaced out eyes. If they don't, then they will ignore it - it is apparently genetic if they like it or not. I have had dozens of cats who have ignored it. At present I have two who adore it.

I gave my foster cat a new catnip bag this evening, to see if she knew how to play - she is so drugged up she thinks i am a monster!!
and attacked me when I tried to clean out her litter tray
