At first I didn't think Dawn was all that near to where I live, but when I found out the area she was talking about was exactly where I live I just couldn't help but blurt out the offer to help. They're here now, and already seem quite settled, although of course there's a good deal of all the cats sizing each other up. What has surprised me is how Sonia is not in the slightest intimidated, and I won't have to give her any special attention (beyond what she already gets!)
Obviously I'll be keeping a close eye on them all, while pretending not to, but there's been a lot less hissing and growling than I'd expect.
Cleo is very good natured, and definitely a lap cat:
Tillie is also a lap cat, but goes into a strange fit of play fighting if you don't stroke her in
exactly the right way! This might be because she's a bit unsettled after all, but she's pretending not to be.
All the cats have retained a healthy appetite, another good sign!
