Jazz our JRT has one for when she is in the garage and we use 2 for the winter for the outside ferals one in the garage and one in the wendyhouse and both seem to get use but as soon as our light are on the occcupants of a warm dry place are off to roam the outside.

We also have 2 of the metal electric heatpads which Sweetie uses through the day as she won't go to the house cats side of the house and she is 15 and the youngsters ae allowed to sleep on the one she doesn't use!

They are great and a godsend as we use them on long car journeys for Jazz to - Sky isn't quite the heat magnet our oldie Breezre was for Jazz to snuggle to!!!

Have two snuglesafe heat pads in covers but not cushions, my elderly cat loves hers under ahr fury cushion in her bed and the other s used by two of my other cats in the dogs bed wher they cuddle up sometimes all three of my other cats are in there huddled up, whislt the dog sileeps in the chair ! The heat pads are brill worth every penny.

Padraig (greyhound) is tying his belongings in a spotted hankie as we speak and tells me if ANYTHING that size (cat or dog) comes in the house he's going back to Battersea.

I'm not sure about the cushion Vs the ordinary covered one, on relection the ordinary one's probably more versatile, I think Suzie'd love it on the bed at night as she's a Senior Catizen and loves her home comforts.

havent got the cushion leigh but the actual pad is very good, i've just got the ordinary cover and slip it under the fleecy blankets in codys bed  ;)

Lexy loves hers now. She doesn't like soft pillows or cushions.

Didn't know you could get the cushions!

I have a snuggle safe heat pad for the hedgehogs, I think it;s fab and so easy to keep clean (they are messy little mites). Also can't be chewedthrough like a hot water bottle so safer. And, keeps my knees warm on the drive home after dropping the hedgehogs off with the rescue lady  ;D

Good grief, Leigh.  Our poor greyhound would be horrified to find a cat that size in the house - he shuts his eyes in horror when Ollie sniffs at his nose
